Thanks , Mouse.
The bypass used to be the best public pheasant hunting area in the state, but the flood put an end to that....the birds are so stupid that they drown as opposed to flying to higher ground.

I'm sick of this wet-cold bullsh#t.

Me too. I bailed outta Santa Cruz and headed out to Moab early. Having some dry weather is a relief.

YARTS office in Merced told me just this minute that they can only take passengers to Yosemite View Lodge, so it's still there.

The lady in the office said they'll post any further changes as soon as they happen at ~

More info. If they have to use the emergency spillway, much damage will be caused.

Looks like the state's inspectors let some shoddy work slip by them.

Thanks for the recent photos mates! Incredible run-off.

I'd been nervous to be one of the workers pictured in Mono's CU of the spillway. Even with a tether (mighty long ones)

Feather river's flow makes me want a big glass of chocolate milk...

Charlie, is that what's called "bank full"?

If "misery likes company" here's what SW Montana's been left with after Cali's atmospheric wringing.
