my understanding was that she was claiming that the syrian "civil" war was from its inception grounded in part in third party actors...

and she didn't carte blanche say that the gov't wasn't attacking civilians... she only said that the reports she had received, on the ground coming out of eastern aleppo had not backed up the main stream medias claims of mass attacks by the govt on civilians in that region...

but none of that is really the point, imo. she is only one voice and she also has a perspective.

what is the point, is that there is apparently no actual independent press there and so everything that is coming out should be suspect as it is instead coming from what she gives claimed evidence to being a "compromised establishment media"...

same as all of the baseless claims that the media promulgated leading up to the second iraq war... and so which one has to question whether they are doing the same now, regarding "russian" infiltration of the election...

were the hackers that got the emails russian? probably... were they acting at the behest of the russian government? maybe... should it be investigated? absolutely.

does any of that change the nature of the election when nobody is denying that the information they put out was true?

nah, it's just a bunch of sour grapes.

In the debates, Clinton said there were 17 intelligence agencies, gov and independent, who said it was the Russians.

Now folks want proof, these same folk who said Snowmen committee treason for giving away secrets in how well hack.

I was talking to a good friend who's in computer security. The US does a good job at shielding their hand in this regard.

Perhaps people should be upset at the nonsense uncovered rather than the whistle blower. Great posts nahoo. I wish more people could see beyond the US propaganda

The dismantling of key parts of the voting rights act shouldn't be ignored. This easily could have changed the outcome yet it's not being talked about. And, what's so bad about recounting votes in the face of the rest of the nonsense we are be subjected to:

some 60% of Americans get their news from FaceBook

where there is no ability to tell real news from fake news

this guy made $60,000 during the election by making up fake news for conservative web sites

the ones that show themselves to be credible over time...

which means at the end of the day, regarding a lot of issues, we as the public just don't have a lot of actual information...

i didn't post that shIt about syria to claim i know exactly what's going on there, because i certainly don't...

the only point is that sometimes we have to accept that we don't know and there is no credible, evidence based information in the public domain...

re: "where Trump... ends up winning is worse than having a Clinton in the white house.."

in the short term: for sure.

in the long term? harder, i'd argue basically impossible, to know.

and if the driving forces behind being given a choice between a punch to the nads or a punch to the face is going to change, it is going to take reformation of the system [especially the dnc and rnc two party pander and then play the same corporate funded ignoring of the public will - as has been scientifically established at this point]

until then whether or not the russians put a foot on the scale is as much a distraction as which kardashian posted their ass to instagram most recently.

I very much doubt that the Russians, or anyone else hacked the election results for Trump, but the vehemence of Republican opposition to any investigation into such hacking shows that many Republicans are worried something could be found.

i don't disagree...

that's why it should be investigated... it is possible there is more than just spilt milk...

as with you, at this point, i do doubt it though.

How much did you make reporting fake news on supertopo like Like Trump can't get enough electoral votes?

You know that you and people like you are more responsible for Trump winning than fake news but you won't admit it.

well since you asked

I made $37,350 by betting way back in August of 15 that the Republican Primary voters would
choose Donald Trump to be their Presidential nominee

I placed that bet on this well known betting web site

https://betting.betfair.com/politics/us-politics/

also, since you asked, I made $145,262 during this election cycle by making up and planting fake news stories on political web sites, including making $47.652 just on the political threads on Supertopo, pretty easy money when you think about it

oh and yes, I also threw out a weak challenge here on Supertopo offering to bet anyone a measly $5000 that Clinton would beat Trump but no pussies took me up on it

that all you got, little Excreeta? LOL, LMAO, ROTFLMAO, etc, etc, etc

the ones that show themselves to be credible over time...

That's going to be difficult to discern. In this age of competition amongst the MSM, and social media, credibility takes second place to ratings.

This is why trump's Putin love is such a problem:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-a-trump-presidency-inspires-fear/2016/12/11/3b2259f8-bfda-11e6-897f-918837dae0ae_story.html?utm_term=.239c53619a16

It is quite alarming that someone with such an affinity for Putin, and who has made numerous pro-Putin appointments and nominations, including his nomination for secretary of state (who is a huge Putin cheerleader), quickly dismiss intelligence reports concluding Russia tried to rig the election for him.

What's trump hiding?

Why won't he show his tax returns?

His ballcuppers wil believe anything he says, even though he is a god damned compulsive liar and intends to f*#k them all in the ass when he is in office. They're all fools.
