;-)

Yes. That other green stuff doesn't change your metabolism. Besides, it's illegal here.

(Not the healthiest way to do it, I admit, but who cares? It worked. Add some exercising and the weight stays down.)

Wife works at Costco and brought me home a 24 pack of German beers, all different. It's called a "beer a day in december" or something like that. A little pricey at around $48 but they are all "Tall Boys" 16ozers. Did not know any of them All good with a split of about 2/3 light pales and the rest more dark. All writing is in German so don't realy know much more. Will have to get another case as they did not last long as I am a thirsty boy....Frank

It's an Advent calendar. You were supposed to drink one a day from December 1 till christmas. You found christmas early this year :)

End of the work day, and time for a beer.

This one, from the Firestone Walker brewery in Paso Robles will do just fine.

That Advent calendar was pretty damn tasty; all good quality German beer. Granted, you were supposed to drink one a day from December 1 till christmas. But I used it to hydrate in prep for my colonoscopy. Everything passed ;) Wished I could grab another...

It's improved over last year. It no longer has a lot of pumpkin sediment in the can, so you can drink the whole thing.

This one's for Mooch.

From everything you've said about beer, I believe you'd love this one.

Fresh hop IPA, from this fall's harvest, is now in perfect condition. I know, I know, every west-coast brewery does some "fresh hop IPA" thing, but most of them are so one-dimensional that they're not worth drinking. This is more in what you call the east-coast style. Warm, complex, soft... Whatever.

And Loyd, that is some serious steel. Do you weld?

The beer selection in Joshua tree has been ruined by tattoo infested hipsters and bunheads! If you don't want IPA or crap PBR etc, you are SOL! Thank goodness there is still tequila 😀
