It takes me to long when it is the last post on the page,
The popular spin has been that it was on the Shoulders of the Von Bruan group.
The way I'm familiar with this is through my fathers association as a chemical engineer
German/English, Oxford degree in Chemical engineering.
He was tasked with acting as a proof reader/ translator of the communiques
Between the scientists. The reformation of the departments of the chemical companies working to achieve boost was a direct result of the need to get the older less willing to
Cook the science scientists to take a back seat. As they did, so that Joe public could feel good about & get behind the re-run of the original legitimate space race.
I'm not all that negative on this whole issue.
I just have common sense questions, if we could use the moon as a base we would.
Some one would,
Mars? Oh please call it science to promote humanity,
No one is going to Mars!
speaking Causiously with out links to data to or propaganda, I'm sorry that I'm not
Able to get the sur names & and dates of immigration of the people in the small circle of
Scientists that were continually supported for the rest of their careers for the work they did while waiting to be given American Citizenship, a 'pay to play' government program?

So are you saying that there were no moon landings?

Yeah, after the war the Americans and the Russians grabbed all the German scientists and all the V2s they could get.
I lived in Huntsville, Alabama during the moon days; my father worked on the second stage of the Saturn V. Saw and heard lots of motor tests and saw two moon launches at the Cape. Pretty good faking IMHO; so good in fact that to fake it 'they' actually built it and flew it to the moon. Can't do a better fake than that.
Klimmer, we miss you.

No, I'm not sure of the later Apollo missions ?
I'm saying there was a mis-information campaign that clouds the issues surrounding the viability of the science proposed to have existed at the time.
Until 1973-4,
I don't think the variety of things need to accomplish a moon landing and return,
Existed.....but I have no proof , little to no education in the actual solid fuel/liquid fuel
weight V's boost considerations or the top secret
So as I'm saying 70 years from now if we are not colonizing the moon
What will be the view of scepitics then?
Edit,
I'm not saying they didn't do almost everything that is in evidence.
Rockets were launched - lots of them.
I was fed and clothed by the United States space program.
I am Just trying to get the single idea across that if man could
We would, the technologies either exist or they don't. If they do why do continue
With the Sky-lab program?

It is ten years and one month since my father died. Moose I wish you had known him!
Thankyou for that clearly worded rebuttal.

moosedrool, I sure hope you're being sarcastic. For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction; throw mass out the back and you'll go forward whether there's air around you or not.

Very interesting, I am no expert but it sure looked and sounded like Kubrick.
I always believed the veracity of the Apollo program but I have of late, come to question some aspects of the story. If this is a genuine interview with Kubrick, then it is a significant revelation.
Thanks for sharing that.

Because earth orbit platforms study the earth like no moon base could and have near zero gravity for other studies and much easier to resupply.

Dear moosemoon, so there's no international space station either?
Levy, it's not Kubrick.

Geez moose, you are brilliant. Hey, here's a video on how to build a machine to get free electricity from the ether. All you need is a monopole magnet, which is really easy to find on ebay. Or maybe Ed H has a couple of extra ones laying around.

Mr. Kubrick died before the camera used to make that first video was invented, but ...
Could HAL have managed the whole thing?

Moose, it's too bad the that you revealed the Freemason's involvement in this. You may be in serious danger of being "reprogrammed".
