What I find puzzling about your reasoning, is that it accepts "the sins of the father will be visited on the son"===meaning that you don't need to bother looking at a person, only where they came from, who their parents were, etc.
I think that's unamerican, where we look at people for themselves. Otherwise, we would judge everyone based upon their heritage (like some "mexican" judges?), not on their virtues.

The religious zealots that proclaim their faith and their support for Trump, destroy their credibility as moral citizens. It makes the case that their religions are not about charity, mercy, and love, proclaimed by Jesus, but about power and the love of money....which I think was specifically addressed by Jesus.

I do.
But considering that international affairs (journalist for over 44 years in five countries), besides business and medicine are my areas of concern as a writer, I do not need to be lectured to it by someone who has blatantly (by your previous posts) appears to believe what he/she reads in the right-wing press. I read the same press including Breitbart, and liberal press and anything in between (I draw the line at publications such as The National Enquirer, The Dredge Report and I still question Wikileaks, Snowden and Assange and their motives, and who may indeed be pulling their strings, perhaps nobody does, I do not know).
As for the media in the US, right, left, center, I have my own ideas. I think the cartoon about Hillary's mountains and Trump's molehill is just one of example of the bias that all sides can show. If Trump's transgressions over the years can be considered a molehill… then I think I will re-look up the defintion of a molehill.
And to sound like a prude (I don't think I am), but I think that meme video of "F her P", is vulgar, offensive and has no place in the discourse of this thread or indeed anywhere on the Taco Stand. In my humble opinion, it should be removed by the poster or by admin. I am for free speech, but honestly, what use does the meme have on this forum? None that I can see, though some may justify its use.
