I have respect for those on the right that have come out against Trump. It shows they have some principles. Of course the rapid Trump supporters will say they are RINOs, because they think they get to dictate what Republicans should stand for.

Yep...so let's recognize John E and Jody for not supporting this mess.

Trump is tanking fast and he deserves it, anyone who ever defended or wants to vote for this POS should be ashamed.

This election has really exposed how deeply set the biases of so many people are. No matter how bad the Republican nominee is they will still vote for him.

This is what I find the most appalling. I can understanding people believing different ideologies, but to be so deeply entrenched that one cannot back away from a despicable human being, that I cannot forgive.

Somehow the people who rally behind him get strength from the perception of loyalty through difficult times, sort of like a sports fan that supports a terrible team. There is no notion of merit or issues, just a random picking of teams and sticking with it to the bloody end. But we are not talking about games here. What sports team you support doesn't matter worth a sh!t in the world. But which presidential candidate you support does matter.

It is a huge global embarrassment for our country if 5% of the voters would vote for him, let alone alone near a majority or in some terribly dystopic world a majority? Maybe all along it has been a joke to ensure the Democratic candidate was elected...

I do wonder about the timing though... almost at the same time as the latest release of emails from Hillary Clinton... perhaps they had this in their back pocket for a long time, just waiting for critical moments to deploy them to deflect attention?

For the reputation of our country I hope the election is thought of as a "landslide victory" for Clinton. Rather than "43% of Americans voted for that guy."

If Hillary gets one or two terms really depends on the economy. We've been in one of the longest economic expansions on record. It may be due for a correction, or me may just keep muddling along. I think her fortunes will be more tied to that than anything.

Gotta love Lewandowski defending him with "we're electing a leader for the free world, not a Sunday school teacher."

That should play well to the "Christian" values crowd. But the real Christians will see right through it.

For me, Trump's rise, and this election in general, are just a reflection of the fragility of our human psyches and belief processes. Or maybe that's just how my neural connections are wired right now. IMHO, Moore's law is quickly rendering obsolete our notion that humans are at the pinnacle of intelligence and consciousness.

And tRump was bragging about making his moves on a Married woman too. I wonder if Cragman & the Christian right will be able "to turn the other cheek" on that transgression too?

“I moved on her like a bitch, but I couldn’t get there. And she was married,” Trump says. “Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.”

At that point in the audio, Trump and Bush appear to notice Arianne Zucker, the actress who is waiting to escort them into the soap-opera set.

“Your girl’s hot as s---, in the purple,” says Bush, who’s now a co-host of NBC’s “Today” show.

“Whoa!” Trump says. “Whoa!”

“I’ve got to use some Tic Tacs, just in case I start kissing her,” Trump says. “You know I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them. It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”

“And when you’re a star, they let you do it,” Trump says. “You can do anything.”

I am not sure this story will hurt The Donald. In fact he might even get a bump in a certain demographic, the talk-dirty-to-me ladies.

From realtimepolitics.com:

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus condemned Donald Trump’s sexually aggressive comments about women in a curt statement: “No woman should ever be described in these terms or talked about in this manner. Ever.”

The statement, released after 7 p.m. Friday, came as the revelations about the Republican nominee’s crude remarks added a newly urgent threat to his candidacy.

As of Friday, Priebus was scheduled to appear with Trump at a local Republican Party event in Wisconsin on Saturday. The RNC has not said whether the chairman still plans to attend.

Hey Republicans--you broke it, you own it.

This of course assumes the GOP will pull its head out of its ass, a very unreasonable assumption in my view. Teabaggers like Cruz are not done sodomizing the old school republicans just yet.

Most thought President Bush II was a one and done President too, but things change fast once in office. for any sitting President to lose round two things have to be in the shitter.

Dingus,
#1. I am not into conspiracies' but I do wonder about her health, and
#2. I am not in favor of presidents older than seventy.

Yeah, Trump has been threatening to bring Bill's affairs up in future debates. Now, I think probably not.

Early on in this thread Cragman said he wasn't voting for trump. So what changed his mind?
