Cragar: First time I've ever ventured up your ride route. Pretty neat country up there. I didn't see anyone, except for one dirt-bike rider in one full day.

Hey Fritz! Yeah, that has pretty much been my experience in the EastFork environs. Most folks are hanging in the Stanley zone, albeit more 'impressive' but the EastFork zone is pretty durned bitchin! I'll be in the Stanley/Whitecloud/Yankee zone for LaborDay. BTW, nice pic!! Here is one from above AntsBasin which was one of my all-time favorite loops that is now closed to MTBs.

I'll bet you've been in the spot my pic was taken!

Crager: I haven't been in Ants Basin since I went in there as a 6 year old on a pack trip to Born Lakes. I really didn't do much hiking & no climbing in the White Clouds back in my younger days, since I favored granite in the Sawtooths.

However since 2005, I've been doing 4-wheel drive & day hikes around the fringes of the range. Last year was hiking Washington Basin and enjoying a great view of Castle Peak.

The only major White Cloud peak I ever climbed was the south-side of Croesus Peak, when I was 17 years old, looking for artifacts around the many old mines on it.

Awesome!! My MTB is named after CastlePeak and the frame was built in Ketchum. Thanks for the pics. I climbed the Mountaineers route a couple decades ago on the Perch and I can understand your penchant for the Sawtooth granite! I have yet to not find or see some form of a 'mother of zones' as we call 'em when I visit the Stanley zone. The exposed faulted layers in the Whiteclouds really do it for me.

You mentioned Born lakes...Here is a pic of the upper Born basin taken from the same spot the Ants pic was taken.
The traversing descent to the Born zone on an MTB is as good as it gets! It is the MotherZone of TechnoGnarl-DH!!

Obama is building a 90 foot wall while Trump is in Mexico.

If it would keep Trump out, that would be an Obama action I would wholeheartedly support.

I am not a Trump supporter.

I've taken a look at things again and Trump is running the most technologically advanced political campaign in history from a marketing standpoint. There is a chance he actually might win.

In the last year he has created one of the strongest brands ever built. It is not about a man being a president. It is about a brand that says "F- the System" from the right wing side. He is a crazy individual in a world of crazy individuals.

Here is a great video that shows how close this race really is and how important your vote is:

Spider, what does "strongest brand" mean. If it is public awareness I would agree. However I have read stories reporting that his hotels have suffered. His publicity seems to be counter productive. Alas, we will never know because he will not release his tax returns

Spider, I think the media is responsible for marketing his brand.

You'd be disingenuous to say that trip to Mexico wasn't a huge success for Trump.

He's getting sh#t done before he gets into office. And Nieto knows he can benefit or lose from this. Nieto chose wisely.

It could be win-win for US/Mexico is they want to 'play ball'. Losers immediately will be South/Central Americas. But then Brazil and Venezuela are doing a good job f*#king themselves.

EDIT: Hitlery doesn't speak off-the-cuff, because she can't do it well. The real, bitchy her comes out. The 'real' Hitlery turns EVERYBODY off. Even people who 'like' her.

Neto told Trump they wouldn't pay for the wall, Trump said they didn't discuss it.

Trump lies again.

Despite that all the experts have spoken I'm inclined to wait for more than an hour or two to see how it shakes out.

It's 'Nieto', Bob, you racist!

The meeting wasn't about the payment of the wall. It was a meeting to discuss where they both could work together. It was a f*#king preliminary meeting to get acquainted, get a feel for where they PRIVATELY stand.

I though it was a good move, not just for politics and the election, but to start a dialogue with a guy you're going to have to get to know well.

Mission accomplished!!!!

Yeah, Trump is the dishonest/phony one in this campaign. Keep telling yourself that.
