I have, Doug, and that's what I find really disturbing. They want something ( I don't get what it is, really) so bad, that they are willing to disregard their otherwise keen scientific judgement, in order to buy into a flimflam rainbow. Buying into an ill defined bill of goods that they interpret any way that suits them. With out any logical back up or proof whatsoever. Like wishing on a star, but for real.

Interesting. I've met you a couple of times. Which one am I, uneducated or just un-intelligent?

Also interesting if you'd classify some of Hill's supporters that way.

I think I may fall into your category, but I wish you'd elaboate on the bold stuff above.

Maybe you just don't understand where I'm coming from and what I'd prefer to see in gov't. I would think that is clear from my years of posting here, but I can be specific if you wish;

More personal liberty/responsibility and less/smaller gov't. That is the big picture, but I can go micro on ya too, if you like. Be more specific.

Yeah, blue, all of us polititard regulars know what your preference is for government....we just cannot understand how Trump is anything close to an acceptable solution, and how you can set aside his overwhelming negatives.

Apogee, Trump has made it pretty clear;

Lower business/corporate tax rates to competitive levels. 15% instead of 25-35%.

Lower middle class tax rates to private citizens.

Eliminate regulations that are anti-business, that stifle business for no logical reason.

Enforce immigration laws on the books, build a robust barrier, and properly regulate any immigrant labor. This steals work from our lower/lower-middle class workers.

It goes on...but he does have a plan. He CAN and I think WILL implement this stuff. He has staked his reputation on it.

From a man like him, that means a lot! He does not like to lose.

EDIT: If he ONLY does the bold highlights above, that would be a great, great start.

Zbrown's bottom-most video is actually an awesome barrier!!!! I like it! Let's nature and some wildlife through, but blocks all else. Nice!

Put some cameras every couple of 1/4 mile and your set!

His stated 'policies' are not the point, blue.

He is a lying, deceitful as#@&%e. That's the point...and it doesn't make a bit of difference to you.

So after Trump rounds up and deports all 12 million illegal immigrants (is he going to capture them and send them out on trains or something) will he then set up some kind of training program so I can get some help me with my subsistence farm garden to replace the awesome guys (from Central America) that currently help me now?

Yea, but that is all the stuff that he won't be able to get through congress. (Just like Bernie would not have gotten his promises through either).

What scares me the most is what Trump would do in foreign policy. There is very little in the way of checks and balances when it comes to the POTUS and foreign policy.

Hillary is much too NeoCon for my preferences, but I think she will be very pragmatic and competent with FP.

The people in particular that I mean are geologists with doctorates. They act as if they are making a choice for a standard conservative republican, like the kind that always promise smaller government lower taxes etc ( though we, All know that those things only happen under democratic presidents anymore).
But don't realize they are supporting an apolitical crazy person Who is promoting a tax cut plan that will leave a budget that can't support the infrastructure. A madman who keeps babbling about a wall.and what democrat started what terrorist group.
Clearly he doesn't believe any of it, and he just come up with stuff for hi current audience.

From a man like him, that means a lot! He does not like to lose.

Yes he Does! That his M O, he declares bankruptcy while pocketing investors money. What do you suppose he has in mind for us?

I haven't figure out his angle. Clearly he doesn't want to run the country on a day to day manner. He has no where near the patience or empathy., required. Does he think ge can delegate the whole thing?
Or does he have some scheme to Cashing in on losing the election?

His next ploy will be the Trump Television Network, with R Aills, exfox head (rapist?)

He was a Juvenile delinquent, To date him, more than once, a women had to submit to a blood test.
He had people show up who insisted on a signed confidentiality agreement to have dinner with him and a date..

The guy is the next totalitarian puppet
Oh, he'll be great for this country. You can forget about free Europe though.

so Hitlery, ?, not much better, fully disingenuous, will make us weak, leave our allies at risk ...
but I'm more willing to sneak my kids out of her regime than his, when Military service is made
mandatory again.

Bluering, do you care about the national debt? Most of you far right types always moan about the debt.

Trumps' plan, as analzyed by panel after panel of economists INCLUDING republican economists, including Bushs old economic advisor team, say it will explode the debt, and the benefits will go disproportionately to the top 1% both by sheer dollars and by percent.

So you want to expode our debt, and let the top guys screw us even more, while our bridges and roads fall apart? All so can feel like you have "more freedom". What are you not free to do, right now?

If your tax burden is sooooo bad right now, move. We live in a higher tax state, there are plenty with lower taxes and less services. Nevada, Tennessee, Alaska, and lots of others have lower taxes. But trumps "plan", that he keeps changing because everytime someone actually looks at hte details, it's a disaster, would be a handout to the rich and blow up the deficit at a time we have less workers supporting more retirees.

Have you even read the experts on his plan? Try this, which includes hard right economists analysis (along with sane ones), all saying it's a joke:

http://www.thefiscaltimes.com/2016/05/17/Experts-Weigh-Donald-Trump-s-Tax-Plan-and-Find-It-Wanting

That's why people say your either uneducated, or not very bright. Because when you go past just believing whatever crap comes out of Donnie's mouth, and actually look behind the curtain, the "plans", when they even exist, are a joke. And it you vote for him, that makes you a joke too.

Yes. And I know Hill will do more damage to it than Trump, without decreasing it a cent.

All I need to know.

Sad and true.

How is it possible one can be (1) never more hopeful than right now (ala Steven Pinker, etc) and (2) never more saddened than right now (ala Trump supporters reflecting America's character) AT THE SAME TIME? Now THAT is the enigma, Mr. Churchill!
