Mike Munger above on the Emperor Face. He, Jim Logan, Dakers Gowan and I tried it the Winter before Logan's and Stump's first ascent. We reasoned that the cold temperatures would freeze the notoriously loose rock together. A storm that started the evening of the second day forced us into a rather hazardous retreat.

Yeah, great stuff.
There was a time when all I wanted was to be able to climb the Emperor Face on Robson....sadly I never made it.
