In all honesty, I didn't think twice why the original thread got taken down.

The message said the OP deleted the OP, and that was that. I'm not sure I figured that Mystery out.

But I really like the couple of paragraphs that I posted from Sander's OpEd. I thought it was important, and interesting, news.

If this thread gets all twisted out in any way, I know it won't be hard for me to pull the plug.

Bernies statement (in the OP) is dead on.
... That guy needs to step aside now ...

I think that's why he begins almost every paragraph in his OpEd with, "What do we want?"

When he says "we," I think he's referring to all the millions of folks who support what he's saying, many of whom will continue to drive for these ideals.

Will any of it ever become reality? Only time will tell.

He says he's voting for Clinton and will work to stop Trump.

We want an economy that protects the human needs and dignity of all people — children, the elderly, the sick, working people and the poor. We want an economic and political system that works for all of us, not one in which almost all new wealth and power rests with a handful of billionaire families.

Assuming a comprehensive government program/laws could be passed... a new New Deal... what would it look like? How could Sander's vision of a new America be achieved?

He also said this, dirt.

"You talk about disunity, I talk about people in the political process and wanting to have a government and party that represents all of us," he said. "What we want is a government that represents all of us, and that's what I intend to fight for."

That's reasonable, given his support. I expect after he gets what he wants, or as much as possible, he'll be an effective campaigner.

GCF, that's done by a 15-person committee. Clinton has picked six members and Sanders has named five.
