Until you get that MRI and have it analyzed by a neurosurgeon I think you're taking a big risk by doing any sort of PT at all.

Words to live by from DMT. Don't diagnose yerself! Sorry to hear about
yer dad. Hope you get to see him. Heal up!

Good luck and positive vibes cosmic, you've got a lot on your plate!

OT, but in a way DWAIN can relate to... Interesting stuff DMT! All the " what worked, what didn't" but esp about the pot. These days in greenieland they have have the solutions for Everything, or so I am told 😎😎. I wonder if, these days, they would have more useful, relevant approaches than " smoking pot" that might have a ihigher efficacy in yor case (?) ( tinctures, strains, blends, etc) though I would keep the words of Dingus, close to heart!

I second that. If I had done the stretching I wanted to do when my back went south, I would have signed my own death warrant. Fortunately my chiro told me to get to an ortho spine surgeon ASAP. He found a massive infection. Saved my life.

Get well, dude. Don't give up on climbing, just deal with the issue and, when that's done, tie back in.

Cosmic,
I am so glad to hear that you are going after the source of the pain, and not just alleviating the pain. Because for sure, working toward finding and fixing the cause is the way to go! BRAVO! You will get better.

And I hope you feel some decreased level of pain every day, too.
You and your dad are on my prayer list.

Carry on healing, :)

We are all pulling for your recovery Dwain and best of luck with your dad's situation.

When you do physical work and are into physical fun it's truly tough when the body machine isn't working properly.

Hang in there brother and don't dismiss nonwestern medicine in the fine tuning. Accupuncture has worked well for some friends in relieving chronic pain.

I hope that you can push through all of this soon.

Well, as I noted way back, which you might have missed as it was at the
bottom of a page, I can't even get out of bed sometimes, and that's the
way it has been for 45 years! Hopefully yours is fixable.
