What can a poor boy do except to play in a rock n roll band

The song they play is compromise solution

And they can't get no satisfaction

Your boy is different from boy

Your boy Reagan
Your boy LBJ
Your boy Mike Tyson

So I'm as stooped as you others for talking about it

You want to get screwed by insurance companies just keep on bending over

Cosmic-

I've been laying low on S-T lately (and you know the reason why), but I am hoping you can get yourself taken care of so we can finally share a rope together. If you have to sell all your schitt to get your medical taken care of, I still have TONS of gear, ropes, etc. I could probably even rope gun for some 4.8d's.

Just get yourself taken care of, my friend.

I can commiserate with you, as I had to sell lots of my personal schitt (gun collection, coin collection, 8" apochromatic refracting telescope, etc.)to ensure that my Anne was properly cared for in the nursing home ($750,000).

All I know right now is, I pay my deductable, and after that it's 80/20.

yes, that sounds like a quite basic plan

and Cosmic, your plan should have to have a Maximum Out of Pocket amount that you can call your insurer to find out about if you don't have your plan paperwork handy to look up

the Maximum out pocket combines your deductible, co pays, your 20% of stuff, and it is a yearly total figure, often that amount is somewhere between like $7-12,000 depending on how much your monthly premium you chose when you signed up

that was a nice postBrokedownclimber

locker where was that from wiki? i heard a story in some cultures class at s.b. about it being a derogatory statement towards slaves bitd. i wonder if a texan may have written that for wiki? funny that's one of the only things i remember from that class. and it's prolly wrong.ha.

cosmic,,bro,
i've been feeling in a disturbed way lately.. and i can't help but think about you a bunch. if i wasn't so frustrated in my own predicament i'd jump up and lend a hand up. i got a $4500 doctor bill but they are letting me make payments. won't yours let you pay after the procedure? i mean that should be the way it works anyway! operation THEN cash. what if they botch it, and you die. how you suppose to get your money back? lol. no! you won't die. but they might botch it. and you shouldn't have to pay for what doesn't fix you. you should know us low budgeters get low budget docs, specially here in jtree. the young dude that worked on my finger was his first time. i said,"i don't want to hear it. JUST DO IT!" i still don't have much mobility, and it hurts everyday. and it's been 4 month's. will they not let you make payments on the 20%? 100'000 seems like a good deal for back surgery. my dad paid millions on his back, but he still limps with pain. either that, or he's addicted to the morphine sack attached to his spinal column, and when need be it's administered 24/7 via wifi. i will offer this lend up. look up, to our brother up high. he can be a brother to everyone, and all. me, you, locker, your dad, and everyone else back to Paul. he's got yo back, our backs, our legs, fingers. but his concern is your heart. he knows what you need, even before you cry. his allegiance, is for you to never die. start by thanking him for his deeds, our pain is covered because the bible tells us he bleeds. his word is joyful to my ear, for the groanings of the spirit cause me not to fear. i once was where you are here, selling all my gear. is anything more queer? to this i bet neebee would say, oh my dear!

today i went out with a lost fortitude, but it still turned out awesome. praise jesus

"I am NOT on Obamacare, Tradhog"

Hey wiseguy? We are all "on" Obamacare, it's a piece of legislation, not an insurer or health care provider. "Obamacare" is the same private insurance that has always existed, except now your insurer can't kick you out or fail to cover you because of your pre-existing condition or you costing them too much. Both those things would have happened to you before the ACA (what you call "Obamacare"). So if anything, you should be thanking President Obama and all the democrats that fought for that law.

Otherwise, your ass would be up the creek without a paddle and no insurance company would touch you with a 10 foot squeegee. They might fix your back, seems unlikely that they can fix the ignorance.

all true

and in addition IF you have truly found an insurer to sell you a plan that is NOT ACA approved then you will pay a $695 penalty come next April tax time

but then you knew that

good luck checking medical out, Cosmic!

Recently an old friend, a climber in his late 50s, developed severe spinal discomfort. He had a brief surgery performed by Dr. Corenman at the Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado. This surgeon was initially a DC, then became an MD spinal surgeon, so he knows the spine perhaps better than someone who has gone directly from his MD into spinal surgery. My friend had a complete recovery. FWIW.

Are you gonna stop f*#king around with these retards and call me or what?

The eagle has landed and our mutual friend has the digits. Lol

EDIT: Btw, we are leaving soon for our Colorado antelope hunt so if I don't get back to you it isn't because I'm mad at your sister. We might be out of range for a while.

Hey dude, I somehow missed this whole topic until now. Good luck sorting out your options. Keeping numbed up seems dangerous if you are still moving around.

When you decide what path to take, consider what you would do if you knew you were going to live for 20-40 more years. Definitely check out whatever assistance programs exist to deal with chronic medical issues. My mom has been fighting that front for the last few years and looks like she's actually going to win a case for a denied disability claim.
