Getting a late start from Boulder. Heading out in 15 minutes. Jay and crew, I'll see you at Forever War area if you're not at camp.

These are all just iPhone shots, much more to come when I get my camera photos. Downloaded back in Moab in the next few days.

Hopefully gouge will post some of his drone footage from the backside of Reynolds hill.

"Are you on Tinder?", said the vulture to the drone.

I know those legs too. What I want to see is what happened after you got to the forever war area. There have got to be some good shots!

Patty and I are pretty bummed we are not there this year. We love the food, the rain, the moose, the company, and the climbing. For some reason I'm jonesing for Nature's miso soup now.

Are .10b offwidths generally considered a good warm-up?

Let's see, there was vulture poop, gear hauling, cam dropping, stick throwing, anchor skipping, and nerve pinching for starts. Pretty standard, really.

The words ".10b offwidths" and "good" should not appear in the same sentence.

More pics for the armchair traveler.

Friday afternoon I drove up Poudre Canyon, north of Ft Collins, because it looked nice on the map. It was a beautiful drive, but a wee bit "pasturey " at the end.

I found the group and parked in a flat spot, then went out to stretch my legs.

Amble back as the sun sets and join the small but enthusiastic sushiers.

Saturday

Greg took the first lead, which we all epiced on in our own way.

I managed to fall out after the crux, even though this is one of only 4 climbs I've done previously here. I was only 53 then and full of youthful ignorance, but this trip the Woo kicked my tired arse.

Sushi and sunsets make great consolation.

Sunday

Eventually..... I jumped on the sharp end for Curreys Diagonal, pumping out just shy of the tree. On a positive note, I now have a route to return to when I'm fresh; t part I did was stellar and promises more to come.

BIG thanks to Doug and Aya for an amazing job. Cheers!

Another cool sushifest at Vedauwoo thanks to Nature and Aya! Sorry, no pictures. This one was a little lower key than the others. Really fun to see the brothers Tom and John who seem to always make these events even though they live in Kentucky!

Nice pics! Whats the name of that formation Greg is leading on that looks a bit like the rear end of a Chevy Bel Air? It's got fins!!

Either the one I am on or the crack to the left is called Event Horizon (5.10b or c?). This is the Forever War area. Nature got some cool video of me on this via the drone. As the drone pans out you can see that this whole formation is a bunch of stacked fins. It's directly behind Reynold's Hill. This area is not in any of the guidebooks or Mountain Project.

Edit: Maybe Nature could post a still-shot from a panned out vantage of the Forever War area. I think the panned-out shots are way more interesting than the close-in from a still-shot standpoint. Having said that, the pan-out that Nature did on the drone video is absolutely incredible!
