Right on Brotherbbrock. A few years back anyone who even mentioned the word "Bilderbergers" was labeled a tinfoil hat wearing crazy. It turns out that labeling them crazy was the best was to denigrate them and change the subject. Bilderbergers is a real group who really meet, and they've been outed enough so that most every mainstream magazine and paper notes their meeting.
It's an interesting thing. I've seen other tinfoil hat crazy things later turn out to be real. (ie, "Death Rays etc etc"). Chem trails (as Klimmer uses the term here http://www.supertopo.com/climbing/thread.php?topic_id=1286602&tn=0&mr=0); may be real and they may not. Why discount it?

In Further Breaking News:
NASA's new pictures of Earth are reigniting conspiracy theories straight out of "Journey to the Center of the Earth."
These are previously unreleased images of our blue marble planet, showing the North Pole and what appears to be a giant hole there.
Now conspiracy theorists say NASA is hiding the fact that Earth is really hollow and that inside is another world, where aliens and animals that look like woolly mammoths live.
There's also a theory that there is a portal to another dimension and another that says there's a black hole there. These theories have been around a while, ever since an explorer visited in the '20s and came back to say he was attacked by flying saucers and that an advanced civilization was sitting up there.
It's been backed up by some, who believe the government has put a ban on planes flying over the North Pole.
That's not exactly true, since planes fly within a few dozen miles of the North Pole daily.
And if you're on one of those flights, you may catch a glimpse of it.

My brother in law swears that after seeing a high number of trails in the skies that it quite often rains afterwards. He lives in San Diego and sees it quite often.
Uh, are you talking about the San Diego in California? Because we're in a pretty serious years-long drought and would welcome any rain we can get.

'Chemtrails' my ass. Contrails. Water vapor from engine combustion condensing in cold, high altitude air. Here's a picture from World War II, I'm pretty sure these bomber crews had better things to do than haul 'chemicals' to spread for their Satanic Masters. (Well, okay, they were 'hauling chemicals' like TNT, and they might have had Satanic Masters, but I'm sure you get my point)

Spreading death on the enemy in WWII. Yes, chemtrails date back that far and further. It is a deep and dark secret.

This is why spreading poisons is so easy.
The loons all think its just normal sh!t coming out of jet engines.
Easily disguised.
Americans are stooopid and look up into the sky and drool that there is never a hidden agenda to anything.
The believe everything shoveled in between their ears by their masters.
The loons just cry conspiracy to STFU everyone.
It's so easy ......

Those are piston engines..........
You're pretty darn crotchety there WBraun. Does it come with the territory?
Ever been inside something like a B-17? I went inside one last year here in Yakima and was astounded that people were willing to put themselves in that little tiny (they're pretty small) thin skinned (REALLY thin) aluminum capsules of death loaded with bombs and petrol and fly over Germany or wherever while being shot at. Damn.
Edited to add comment.

It is interesting and sad that people are in such denial that chem trails are a real and serious thing. Arrogantly ignorant is the best term I can come up with. There are contrails and there are chemtrails - they are very different things. If anyone had been paying attention to the f*#king sky the last 20 years you would see the difference with your own eyes. But, alas we are all so dumbed down that we can't even fathom that something so diabolical could really be going on. Wake up people and take look around.

Our diabolical chemlords have overcome all known science and medicine but can't figure out a way to deliver the evil poison in a manner not visible to the naked eye?

katiebird, airlines have both the ability and the motive to load their planes with chemicals to spray onto we unsuspecting citizens below? Come on. I guess then that the chemicals are being mixed in with the fuel, as I have only seen fuel trucks refueling planes at airports; if this is so, why don't the 'chemtrails' show up at low altitude, at take off, all the time? Are the pilots (all thousands of them) in on this (if there are some separate, secret tanks) so they know when to push some button or something? Would maintenance people see the secret button? I really hope you are being sarcastic.
Note to self: believers in conspiracies do not have the ability to rationally deal with facts. They believe. Prime example, see Klimmer.

not climate engineering, even covertly...
no chemicals detected when looked for...
more aircraft by far, and flying at higher altitudes (and more likely "optimal altitudes")
warmer atmosphere by quite a lot since any of us older Tacos' childhood (much more moisture)... that is from inadvertent climate engineering, the stuff belching out of the smokestacks and the tailpipes...

how does talking about climate engineering imply that it's being done covertly?
Freeman Dyson talked about planting trees to counter CO2 emissions in the atmosphere, climate engineering... in the 1970s...
I don't think there were a lot of covert tree planting being done since then...
