Thanks Ed for the explanation for the absence of your wonderful black and white photographs. It wasn't necessary, but appreciated.

Unfortunate that there isn't a boarded up darkroom tucked away somewhere on the LLNL campus you could use.

Good morning! Another Facelift successfully in our repertoire! :-) Thanks again to everyone. Facelift always warms my heart because it's a great example of spontaneous organization for a good cause!

If you didn't get a chance to see it, Ken, Timmy, Mike Gauthier, and Jeff Johnson "went live" on Sunday morning. Some good tidbits in there, including the fact that over 13 years, we've picked up over one million pounds of trash! Patagonia Live with Ken from Valley Floor

I'm planning to work on camping assignments next year, but with help from Linda. We'll work on getting communication about requests out early. :-)

And, some photos!

If you all are around Santa Rosa next Tuesday, come by Round Table to the RIM Club event! I'll be showing some photos of painting and from climbing in Patagonia and would love to see you again!

Until next time,
Cheers!

hey there, say...

when my ex died, i had to go to south texas and then...

had to get things back in order here...

sorry to not get it done this year... :(

love and missed being part of it, from a'far...

will sure be ready, for next time...
and, you never know--only god knows, if i can get there someday...

too much around here, though to really plan... got to
go by 'instinct' and prayers, if the the 'time gets ripe' ... :)

Yosguns, it was fun and a privilege working there in the booths with you and watching the participants come and go, most of them really glad to be doing something positive, if only a pound or two was all they managed to bring in.

Here are some smiles from last Thursday.

Good work at the Meatfest, Anders!
He collected nearly $300 for the YCA that night with his jar.
Thanks to all who contributed that night!!!!!

This is another prize won by ablegabel. How did they arrange this, I wonder?

The traditional blessing by clan Parker, assisted by Chicken Skinner.

And in Yellow Pine CG on Monday morning, some final shots of boon companions.Come join us next year, won't you?

Facelift was wonderful !
Thank you Ken and all that keeps this event something to look foreword to every year.
It was too short a visit this time. Actually fun to do micro trash duty. Found out the auditorium needs help on Mondays, beer beer beer!
Enjoyed taking photos of first time visitors trying to take selfies that weren't working out so well.
Great to see all the photos, Mouse you've quite an eye,, keep them coming....Cheers!

How do you get that impression, Blurring? He's better from the first ankle-bender, but has a long ways to go for this knee-mother. It was from a bike accident this time.

Best to you, Eric! Fine time jamming with you.

Thanks, Joey. I tried the cukes without seeds. My sister clued me in. That was great salad, man!

Glen's new book, "Valley Walls" had just come out - well worth a read. One day Glen was at the VC to sign books, then the next day he gave a walking tour of Camp 4, talking about how it was in the 1960s. Fascinating!

Reva and Gary Colliver, at the location where they were married in 1965. Glen took the photo that they're holding, on their wedding day.

A cold, windy day, but a nice break en route to Bishop.
