Brandon, I think the donkey deal was covered by Craig with an interesting cartoonograph a few pages back.
I've given money to Bernie and think he is sincere to the bone, but I also think it's time for him to give it up. Hillary has won the primary and we need Bernie to start backing her. This infighting is doing no one (at least on the Democratic side) any good.
One of the most important responsibilities of the new president will be appointing Supreme Court Justices; who they are will affect this country for decades. I'm just glad it's not Ted The Zodiac Killer Cruz who will be doing this.

This is so good it deserves to be moved to this page
the fact that very few seem to recognize is that Bernie Sanders has not been "vetted"
he has not been under a microscope whereupon every little things he has ever said or done has been called into question
go ahead, google Bernie, read about his youth and memberships in what most everyone would call "communist" organizations
there is a reason he has never, ever, been a "Democratic" - because he is not one
he identifies rightfully as a Democratic Socialist and just last year registered as a Democrat so he could run as one in this election
consider that even his opponent Hillary Clinton hardly ever brings up his past and goes nowhere near what the Republicans would kill him with in negative advertising
IF HE WAS THE NOMINEE, and because they all knew he had no real chance why waste one dollar beating the hell out of Sanders, much better to go after Hillary
No serious, responsible, reasoning person can look at what Bernie is proposing and conclude that the Republican controlled House would vote yes on anything, and everyone knows this, except Bernie's uninformed, misinformed, adoring "fans"
don't get ME wrong, I like Bernie personally as a man, honest to a fault. well meaning and probably absolutely stunned to be where he is now - taken somewhat seriously

DT has released a list of 11 people he would consider nominating for Supreme Court Justices if he is elected.
I'd rather he release his tax returns..... but what the hell.
The statement he made was clearly not written by himself.

If he gets our neighbors to the South to pay for a wall that he says he's gonna build it will be to block a sudden onslaught of Americans from entering Mexico. He seems rather confident of this boast, I wonder why?

I don't understand why most people will vote for Hillary or the Donald, when so many people are complaining about how bad they both are. In every non swing state where you vote doesn't matter for who gets elected, why not vote third party to show disatisfaction with the two parties which most people dislike.
do people not think about it? Still want to show support for one over the other? Feel like there's no good third choice? Feel it hopeless to change a 2 party system?

I haven't familiarized myself with 3d party candidates in this year's election, but in previous years, almost all were crackpots or extremists.

I'm still hoping the general dissatisfaction will lead to a party that actually coalesces at the center, rather than the extremes. It won't happen in this election, of course. Consequently, if the choice is Hillary or Donald, and it's close enough that my vote could matter, I have to hold my nose, hope no Republican-appointed SCOTUS justice dies or resigns, and vote for Hillary. Trump offers no firm ground on which to rest.
As Norton points out, Hillary is the only candidate that's really been vetted. I don't see her nagatives going any lower absent some bombshell Clinton Foundation or email revelation that has stayed hidded to date. Bernie, Trump and any other candidate can easily sink as we find out more about their negatives.

Charitably, at least one of these is already brain-dead, has been for years.
I do have to agree, it's not much of a choice.
What I always wonder about is why anyone even wants the (Pres) job.
How about Trump gets elected, appoints himself to the Supreme Court and resigns as president. Kinda makes the VP choice more interesting, eh.
Newt Gingrich for Pres, sometime after 2016?

If by some weird circumstance HRC (don't confuse with JFK or DDE) is indicted she will be immediately pardoned. There is no doubt here.

kattz posted Democrats preaching "need to stop Trump" fail to see a mountain standing in front of them: what's so strange or upsetting about the fact that about half of the country is fed up with their rights being violated because they're told they always "owe" something, to some entitled groups (who don't deserve any), and all that while government is enforcing strictly one-sided PC BS? These are the things that need to be stopped.
Rights being violated? Dooooo go on.

More on the Clinton Cash author...liar to the core.
http://mediamatters.org/research/2015/04/20/clinton-cash-author-peter-schweizers-long-histo/203209
"Media should be cautious with Republican activist and strategist Peter Schweizer's new book Clinton Cash. Schweizer has a disreputable history of reporting marked by errors and retractions, with numerous reporters excoriating him for facts that "do not check out," sources that "do not exist," and a basic failure to practice "Journalism 101."

That may be, but the 13 minutes of lying by Hillary Clinton that he posted gives a unique glimpse into the life of a career bureaucrat.

You two live in a backwards world, wrong is right.
And you live in a world where you believe some retards blog post over video and audio seen with your own eyes. Was that video deemed inauthentic? Of course not and you know it.
She's the elected elite, and you soak it up like a biscuit dipped in gravy. Just like Klimmer does with Donald's crap.
