Lee Flat a few weeks ago while trying to get out to a new climbing spot. Unfortunetly the road was washed out over the summer due to monsoon moisture. Inyo County Roads Department sent me an email this week saying it would be clear and open by mid October. Might be able to sneak in one trip before the snow arrives.

Yes, about 8 months ago. I miss it but it's hard to beat A/C and being able to carry on a conversation while you drive. I will probably buy a early series Rover at some point in the future as a fun project car, maybe a Series One.

Nice dirt road shots folks. I found lots of scenic dirt roads in northern Nevada last week, while searching for minerals of interest.
Ruby Range dirt.
Galena ghost town dirt.
Burned up old truck dirt.
The truck was just below a ranch near Mountain City & may have been a cherished antique before the fire.
