SOTP THE PRESSES!

We have a typ0.

Stay home from work on Wednesday, Cosmic.

I took that photo of the galls in fall of '13, Cosmic, so you could say that I've always been better. I just the other day ran across that in an old file and I don't remember posting it ever. But thanks, man. I'm trying to keep my standrads as high as, say, yours.

Buck up, buddy, cuz things could always get much, much worse.

This is a good place to vent, BTW, long as it's kept civil.

What did I miss?
That new proud poppa!
He a mouth ful, that for sure this will make him jump my shjt

In an effort to preserve Gunks history
Andy Salo compiled a comprehensive list of every route 5.12a and above.
Tremendous assistance was provided by self severing egomaniacs,
Due to the nature of many of these routes having access issues we are not publishing the route areas,
just the names and grades.
If you see a route we are missing give a shout!
We are in the process of adding,
so that if a climb resides in an app you can jump to it directly from the list. Enjoy!

Wow that's cool and ambitious,
did anyone track down Jason Stern?

The climb that was 'Starting In The Middle' has been climb free'd
By a visiting German climber in 98?
( you might ask James Monson )

Oh Donald Perrys son?

I'm just pointing out that
It will be a re write of history if your sources are the same folks who stifled
Climbers sharing the hardest routes by boorish behavior.

I am not one to talk I know,

Let me list a few I'm sure asked
Clune Al D, J Mills Bwana, Luchan, Lahnman, Tom Andrews , Marc Wallace
Phenix, that store owner big bird guy? Of course the will all discount anything that I have to say.

There were so many early hard pushing climbers not recognized or disliked
The completion was not always friendly.

Climbs in what you call the water works were erased, the holds hammered off
turned into 5.13s that now have chalk on the hammered remains.
after that, many of us never told anyone about what chunks of rock
We're taking visitors to.

the Kid Alex? Andy Tibbets friend?
And Paul Marshell, and Larry Schaffer's, Glistening , thing in the chasm?

I do not claim to know
But I know that the people who run the show do not know all either.

There was a guy Named Ryan? Who was only around a year if that....

I'm not saying that they are not all the greatest climbers but there were those of us who took it upon or selves to act as ambassador like locals to visiting crushers that were not hooked up.

I think you may have missed more than a few 5.13s
I never climbed them.

You did not contact Brett Wolfe did you?

Do you know that there is a wall that holds Brett Wolf FAs?
Or where it is?
Kevin Bien showed me things that I don't think anyone knows about

Romano projects? ( one of many: Right of Arrow some overhanging scop thing?)

I'm not trying to dis you guys !
And the great influence and accomplishments that Andy has made.

You say it is to preserve history?
Try not to write out the very formidable climbers
Who's names have been conveniently, forgotten.

for goodness sake we were following fight club rules!

I have never climbed the hardest anything, what the deal a
But

Russ knows everything?

((( Now, my posts are for my entertainment, I get that one can do a ton more, with the amazing info, communicating, giving back & forth, I've not had good feelings from doing that,
my private climbing zones grew energy drink cans on ledges.
So as much as the good is great, the bad has a lasting negative way of not having been worth it.
I think that is what you get, a mixed bag, by posting to the Internet ,
your milage may vary,

I'll clean this little tribute up later please forgive our outward appearance during our construction

Another Rhyming Poem

Two braw young lads went out one day
In Scotland’s hellish weather
They were equipped with the best
Outdoor wear for wet heather

With their brollies they did carry
In their packs from Eureka
A bunch of munchies, gorp and such,
And some Spanish paparika

In their Rockports they did harry
Up a crag which was quite scary
But the rain eased up and they got up
But on top they did not tarry

They scrambled down the backside
And came back around the frontside
And continued on the track which led
To Farmer Benton’s lambing shed

Once there Bill took his new Bushnells
And scouted the nearby fells
For a certain ewe named Feather
Who was Benton’s flock’s bellwether

Joe said what’s that on the horizon?
Is it Feather I have my eyes on?
Why yes it is. It’s fair Feather
Who keeps us both bedizened

They cooly strode up to the one
Whose hearts she held in ransom
If truth be told she thought them bold
But they were oh so handsome

Just then a lightning bolt came down
And burned all three into the ground
The only thing that remained of them
Was a peanut and an M&M
MFM 8/22/16

I'm not too particular about the rhyme scheme, since I'm not much of a schemer.
Only one fictional sheep was incinerated in the making of this doggerel. Thank God it wasn't Bob.

Target Audience

I make slushies in my freezer door
In a tall glass I will pour
Some Welch’s or some Ocean Spray
Then leave them there and walk away

I come back when it’s nearly frozen
Not dependent on the flavor chosen
For all these juices are much alike
As I was taught by Brother Mike

I take the glass and stir it well
So it won’t freeze but merely gel
Into icy bits of symmetry
That look the same to you and me

It’s now ready for my appreciation
While I’m enjoying recreation
In front of my old TV-set
Slurping while viewing the Olympics yet

I hope they never end
But I will never spend
Another dime at 7-11
They can just go straight to heaven

💫Live music all ways from cradle till the devil takes you instead of the grave
Play music all way always from cradle to grave if you are lucky the devil will pick out of your grave.
The point of a life spent chasing a tune is be already dead when the room starts to make you swoon, and may the devil be there to take when it's time to go home.

The point of a life spent chasing tunes is to haven he Devils save you at the end of the day your devil may find you or call you to the fore you better be ready to blow a horn.
