Or not. The point is to get up and move.I'll be quite frank, this may not work as a regular thing--it was a workout in itself.

That is poetic license, by mfm, I love the S word, it's unintaglably wrapped up in me.

That is a picture of one of my all time favorite climbs .
A fantastic finger crack that, the 1st pitch.
A Jstan classic the very definition of what 5.9+ was.. . .5.11!
Fissure Ramins, is what the 1st pitch was called.
the pitch sits just next to the old world standard for what was hard, the 1st 5.8 in the Gunks;
Minne Belle, 5.8- FA F Wiessner, B Shockley 1946
A climb that remains an introduction to what wide crack climbing is about. Minne Belle was considered hard, till the 💪, muscle of the 60s came about.
With their rope climbing /gymnastic backgrounds rgold, & jstan, & Kevin Bien, and the coming horde dispatched the old and introduced free climbing the way we do it to today.

The highlight of last week for me was the cruise night on Main St.
A close second was the trip to the VA Clinic and the bike ride home again.
I spent nearly an hour and a half at the M St. bridge on Bear Creek, idling and taking photos and drinking the contents of that bottle of Black Butte.
I apologize for dropping it into the creek. It was the beer. I don't see myself as much of a scofflaw, but as a photographer I loved the way the label showed up in the shot.
The difference between CreepTings and my transgression is that she got busted and I have yet to be notified of charges against me.
Another is that she has left visible damage to public property (times seven), while no one will ever see that bottle again, most likely.
That photo does not prove a damn thing about who tossed it. It's not even a great shot because of the cropping I did to center the bottle.
Having assuaged my conscience, let me say the only reason that I'm up is because of a drunk driver who was pulled over by The Man and he used a couple of loud siren whistles to get him to pull over, which woke me up from a sweet dream of adventure and derring-do, of which I will tell later.
For now, here are some shots from the bridge, captions included.

Noisey’s Joe Zadeh began his inteview with Paul McCartney by asking if he ever feels like he has nothing left to tell. “Yes, definitely,” Paul answered, only to contradict himself a few minutes later.
In an episode of McCartney’s virtual reality documentary, the Beatle apparently said that he had discovered the meaning of life with Bob Dylan in his hotel room one night, and that he wrote it down. The next day, he found the words “there are seven levels” written on a piece of paper. When asked point blank if he had been on drugs during the time of this “discovery”, Paul answered “Yes! I think that was our first pot experience. Yes! Answer: yes! Moving on.”
Instead of moving on, Zadeh asked the Beatle if his interpretation of the meaning of life had changed since then. “I never quite knew what I meant that night,” he said, “but the weird thing is, I’ve run into people who have said they got something from it. They start going into scriptures and ancient texts and stuff, and apparently there are people who say that, about levels. All I know is, it seemed very definite to me at the time. And because it was my first pot experience, my overriding concern was telling everyone back home. You know how you do that? If you do something great, you can’t wait to tell your mates? Like, ‘I’ve just been there!’ or ‘I’ve just met this person!’ or ‘I’ve just been to Disneyland!’ Well I thought I’d cracked the meaning of life, so I couldn’t wait to tell everyone back home. Who knows… Maybe ‘There are seven levels’ is right. It certainly seemed very right that night.”
Macca may not quite remember what the meaning of life is, but he does have seventy three years of life experience. When asked what he has learned from his time on earth, Paul answered with “The first thought that comes to mind is: don’t underestimate anyone. If you saw my Liverpool family, you’d think they were just a bunch of scousers. But once you get to know them, there are all sorts of hidden depths in there. One of my cousins – who was older than me – he compiled the crosswords for The Times, The Guardian and The Telegraph. They have got to be three of the hardest crosswords in the world.”
“He’s just some scouse bloke,” he continued. “You’d never spot him in a crowd. You’d think he’s nobody. He doesn’t look like anything. But he is. That’s why I love talking to different people. I ask them ‘Where you from?’, ‘What you doing?’ It sounds like I’m being nosey, but I just want to know. Because sometimes you find out the most amazing things about people. The world has taught me to never to assume somebody is nothing. You might be completely underestimating them.”

I've HEARD the WORD.
NO kidding, C$1971 mentioned this fule rule and I have yet to look it up, but I got the meaning of what he was saying in regard to a shot I had made and posted here.
I'm a minor scofflaw (riding bike on sidewalk, peeing when I need to when I can make sure no one will be watching me--wouldn't do it in the road, say), and I smoke marijuana in public) but if there is a Mean Golden Retriever around I'm the first to step into line.
I've heard and follow the Golden Rule.

They had the decency to change a few things in that lick, like the key.
It makes for a harmonious whole on Taurus.

Mozart, Beethoven, many-many others have "BORROWED" phrases and fit them into their own works. I'm too sleepy to try to think of examples, though.
