Early this morning there was a post that had a bunch of old newspaper articles from a local
paper...
I think the article was called Valley boys and was a story chronicling the exploits of the 77 ? boys
& girls, a black and white picture spread

and a singular shot of Fish in his old glory looking like a hard core Dead head
long hair but surrounded by the contents of the van he was sitting in

the caption
escapes me as do any of the other details....

damn Lipator, a short term memory slayer for sure... it can't be the weed i have none and for a while now.

Ok so heres the thing It was posted up on the Valley in the 70s thread, quintessential to understanding what it was to try to 'surf' thru camp 4 as a more clean cut little guy in comparison to the lords of the
valley, Cali boyz and the enigmatic nature of the whole place was laid out in the black and white article.

Life he is like baseball boring, like watching paint dry , Until it is not some one hits it into the gap and if you get a good jump you win the game, of course you need to stay focused through the slow points to
maximize the moment.

Like not missing the reading of a article from the 70s about the valley

if the ability exists to re capture that local papers' treatment of the Valley Daze it would be great to see......

Up with Weirdos!!!!

This weathered item from June 1965 is generally credited as the first example of a type of poster whose influence—diluted or not—would be global during the next few years, hence the nickname given to it by collectors: “The Seed”.

George Hunter and Michael Ferguson were the artists, and the antiquated drawing style is partly an attempt to complement the persona of The Charlatans, a San Francisco group who adopted 19th-century clothing styles.

The Seed may appear naive in light of all that was happening a year later but Hunter & Ferguson’s florid graphics were something new in 1965; the poster for the Jefferson Airplane’s first show at the Fillmore in February 1966 is more restrained in comparison, as were other concert posters from around the same time.

The most surprising thing about The Seed as a cultural landmark is that it was promoting a series of concerts over the state border in Virginia City, Nevada, not San Francisco as you might expect.

I felt the Bowie loss in an outward way;

for it represented that I would never go back there again,

the passing of a time

A time from which I was already divorced from, for along time now

Natalie Cole a song bird and the Legacy, Glen Frey ? yeah, kinda a surprise

a few others ,sure is sad when some die -but woe- Paul Kantner , and Dan Hicks
Really within days ....

you are talking' about the heavy hitters in the psychedelic mix tape of my personal movie

and I'm eyeless in gaza,

without anything to drink neither,

normally Im super bowl but not this year,

Dry Dry and wet eyes,

listening to sweet sounds that kept the trips right side up ....

It made for a contemplative time...

The weekend took me a bit to get over, we had some family travel into the belly of the Connecticut river valley , Wesleyan, and Yale, but also Guilford for a thing 1st and then after the who who and applications were all finished by the consolers, we had some tours it was what it was and only fun to see the wide eyes of the S.T.E.M;, students ( Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
when the little geniuses saw the real and very impressive labs and special Libraries where they hope to some day save the planet from
We can only hope,
If though the intent is to go to mars
well then No , Hell no we will be coming home
Im taking my little ones back
and we'll squat in the Valley
and make Merry and Warner our adoptive Grand parents
and my redux mom and dad/Camp consolers/ jailers and smugglers too1

It's not a migration everyone knows about,
but these penguins (penguins DON'T EXIST in Canada, as EVERYONE KNOWS or should)
are the doninis of the southern hemisphere's bird population because
THEY MIGRATE to South America every year for the winter!

Believe it or NOT!

Eye can't believe Miss Parton would NEED so many re-takes. That's a terrible waste of your time, but what the heck were you doing in the first place? It's like, in climbing, the reason we use pro is to enable do-overs, besides keeping us from dying, I mean. So you have no real beef, right, Dingus?
It's like, in sheep breeding, you get do-overs all the time, so...
