Founder member Eugene Pitt (born on November 6, 1937) died on June 29, 2018 at the age of 81

Ya know the five went all Seventies on us at one time and became the Jyve Fyve

Some blond climber guy out at Chatsworh told me so.

Remember when JR DIED and it turned out to be a dream?

Then Dylan, or was it Donini, picked up on it And allowed as how he'd let you be in his dream , if he could be in {fill in here, I ain't play in' no favorites} dream

Also, Steve Jobs, in addition to be a mean prick, assembled a massive fortune based upon his theft and the Apple Core still produces shitteee software despite all the big dada wa_bucks

Hotel Tioga standing tall...old Yosemite Valley RR in the far distance. The engine roundhouse where the playground of my elementary school is now. Behind that, my childhood neighborhood not yet built....tomato fields and old Italians at that time.

There's a lot changing in the downtown in Merced, where the same tired banners have been hanging for seven years, at least, proclaiming "It Starts Here."

"What a revolting redevelopment this is."

At the dark end of the lane

in a way,
outway,
at the dark end of the street
that was where we used to meet
When work was done the day complete.

The neighbors seemed far away
Though they were,
as it turned out,
they turned out to be squatters,
claims of ownership, deeds, titles & surveys
created from whole cloth. hole clooth?

I joked at that,
&
when the principles of the firm
sat us down to show what they had found, I joked that at the cost
we could house them all in our own trailer park.
-8 acres not the 4 we'd bought,
And therein lied the rub.

I did not grasp the depth,
some one had accepted tax payments from the Not owners of even a single lot)
It may have been snooped, spyed on, deceptively recorded.
The comment came back at me in court.

A Kafkaesque true story of a squanderd fortune spent
Spent on a place where , as it turned out
you could not raise a family
Safely
The rocks were crystiline Almost every color of white that one can imagine
A the light!
oh, that Hudson Valley light.
a dream of contrasting folds brought to a pique by the clear cold jet stream,
that makes a turn and races up the valley up near the edge of space.

I cant tell ya'

Not
anymore
there were before that
a few gold-diggers who found out
saw me fly away and come back tanned & high
had climbed with most & traveled with more
so there were
more than a few who were ready
but not to be
blue and Kessler too

are
id idid

I too, Timid, eh to?
to be honest,
never got to care if it were error,
then hey too, we saw the arise of Marc . . .
colloquially, gnown az Xcon.
Then too
or, then,
As now too,
why we need three tos too
A need to write incorrectly
Has been my dowm fall
as is my ascerbic nature
I can now say, toothfully?(still having most)
(truthfully)
I too, now have two in High school to the bus stop with'Ya!
Ha, 6 am, on the trail...

( in re-read, it would seem, I really don't use my numbers & letters well)

Wild and Twisted

You can’t tell him what to do
He’s down
He’s up
Oh brother he’s not listenen’
He’s defying all convention
Stubborn
Icy hard and and prideful
Angry stubborn stale a hideful
You won’t know him
‘til you meet him
Just you see

Wild and twisted
by the weather
Strewn and stretched
Tree limbs
The ones attached still after
so much stronger than the others
ripped away
Twisted wild and angry
Tree angels
Eucalyptus trees
You’ll see them
swimming in the breeze

Some folks like a tree angel, but I'm more of a star guy. And tinsel is the cheesiest possible Christmas décor, I don't mind tellin' ya.

So there.

And so, thinking of Christmas trees naturally leads to thoughts of Alaska, further down the Ice Stream of Consciousness...

Grinning at so easy a giveaway, Melander awarded a mocking nod to his derider
and in galumphing strides went from the barracks. Outside held another sort of
confinement, but at least airier than in.

Melander as ever glanced up, the way he might have checked a top-gallant sail,
at the peak that thrust over all their lives at New Archangel, ungainly Verstovia.
Its summit a triangle of rough rock atop a vaster triangle of forested slope,
Verstovia presided up there broad and becrowned, the first presence each morn-
Ing, the last at every dusk.

And farther, snowier crags attended Verstovia on both sides. A threefold Jericho,
this place New Archangel, walled first by the stockade, next by these tremendous
mountains, and last, the distances to anywhere in the world.

Odd, the deceit of distance. How it was that men would brave the miles to a new
place, the vey total of those miles seeming to promise a higher life than the old,
and then find the work dull, the wage never quite totting up as it should,
the food worse than ever—the longing to be elsewhere now pivoted straight
around.

Yes, that was the way for a seven-year man,* distance played these tricks as if a
spyglass had spun end-for-end in his hands.

Holden?

My mom had a Samoyed and I almost had a Bernese (my friend actually had the Bernese, Nani, could surf rings around a lot of folks)

I went to Georgia
I went to Florida
I went to Missi
Tripped in Missippi, but now
You I'll be following
Oh, oh, oh

I went to Baghdad
I went to Laurel
Tripped in the canyon
My head is still bent, but now
You I'll be following
Oh, oh, oh

I went to Johnny
I went to Conka
One of them told me
That he was holding, but now
You I'll be following
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh (Ow!)

I went to Frisco
Bumped into Cisco
He had a shoebox
Behind his icebox, but now
You I'll be following
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh

Special to The Times

Aug 7 2006

It was 1965 when I rushed down to the Whisky a Go-Go to stand out front
and listen to a group called Love. My band, the Doors, was playing in a
dumpy club up the street, and we were on a break. I craned my neck past
Mario, the doorman, to get a glimpse of a band that was so far ahead of
its time, the public still hasn't caught up.
