You're sending me scrambling on the lookups for a Redpolls and Nuthatches

Keith (not my bro), Mr. Speilberg & I were all born on Dec. 18

Michele claims that so too was the zodiac killer born on Dec. 18

How she determined this is unclear

The needle went in the finger finger not the thumb (as if it matters)

The induced coma and balloon tamponade made the needlepoint seem like child's play

It's a once in a lifetime procedure. It either works or you die

...

It's a long and as Warren Z said a "not very pretty at all" saga

"Billy for President!" is a 24-second campaign speech by Bob Weir. "A vote for Billy Kreutzmann is a vote for nature in the streets."

Interestingly enough, my bro lived out there at Point Dume for a while, within ez running, if not walking distance of Bob's place. In fact, that's where I met and threw the frisbee with the Bobmeister.

Eat More Fries

Solo traveler at a table scarfing fries
no longer joined at the hip
Gone the days of partnerships
and shared objectives

Save for the fries and the Fires
there is no need for nothing more
No one else need bother about this
for one who is escaping even from oneself

And there it is
the only thing on the screen
The screen is filled with its challenge
and welcomes this embrace

There is no race
only doing the right thing
Time and again over and over
the right thing must be perfect

A near-perfect sky
and less than perfect rock
But all the time in the world
in the drive toward self-perfection

Must not think of gift shops
nor of gas prices nor of home
Only this and only that
step up and rise above

Look down at the feet
switch and make the move
It’s finished and now
it’s time for more fries

as is the case every Christmas, the deal to be a familly costs and cost plentyI was happy with some colorful sun set shots shots were fired, that will be hard to walk back

I had a shouting match with the matron de' gross,

as the son with yet no other so I'm not ever allowed,

I now have other's psychoses to mold.

Mine due to her are all very apparent to anyone who has had such a parent.
A nice 5 years of holidays,
- Burnt-

This was a full throated, and hurtful (she claimed)
but for eFs sake, why would we go to GreenPoint Brooklyn on Christmas?
to go to the apartments of two schack-ing up
with plans and a ring,
but my son, & daughter are at that impressionable age,
and the fat jap, ? (only a faze ?)
no!
that sort of princess has ensared the drunk teen,
his 23 24 25 year old brain, has to be in there but ...
backafter the bus with what the sky looks like. just yuky sorry 'bout it all

I love it in French.

Equal In Ability

a man of few words listens to a blatherskite
leading to
a cataract of possibilities
versus a whirlpool of opportunities
cheesy organ music as opposed to, say, cheesy Tarzan movies
or intersectional delineations are not mixed with multidirectional demarcations
so pick up the TV Guide or the Meyers’ Guide
(or Rough Guide or Lonely Planet?)
enjoy long quiet nights or short vicious fights
get to know the difference between fair dinkum and outright fabrication
and either and/or or
both together and separately
finding then losing then finding again
that something/anythng may be discrete or more probably discreet
(a common enough error of expression)
or nothing at all or infinite
always unique yet different each time
absolutely free but maybe positively ruinous
one’s existence is atoms or the void
but what does she know that he does not?
and what does he only thinks she knows?

there is no sense like nonsense
and peace at any price means
we should either
rejoice that after-Christmas sales
only happen once a year
or give the presents back in the future

I think DMT forgot about this one.

I believe it was taken right after they tore down that confounded bridge (thereby making it much harder for rich Admirals to get from CoronaDO to see live action beisbol. Not too mention those tacos at "the old man's").

Did I mention how many of those Navy Brass were on the take with Fat Leonard?

Much nicer than Paris (France)?

"Ain't That Pretty At All"

Well, I've seen all there is to see
And I've heard all they have to say
I've done everything I wanted to do . . .
I've done that too
And it ain't that pretty at all
Ain't that pretty at all
So I'm going to hurl myself against the wall
'Cause I'd rather feel bad than not feel anything at all

You know, I just had a short vacation, Roy
Spent it getting a root canal
"Oh, how'd you like it?"
Well, it ain't that pretty at all
So I'm going to hurl myself against the wall
'Cause I'd rather feel bad than not feel anything at all

Gonna get a good running start and throw myself at the wall as hard as I can man

I've been to Paris
And it ain't that pretty at all
I've been to Rome
Guess what?
I'd like to go back to Paris someday and visit the Louvre Museum
Get a good running start and hurl myself at the wall
Going to hurl myself against the wall
'Cause I'd rather feel bad than feel nothing at all
And it ain't that pretty at all
Ain't that pretty at all

Flames and Louvres - sure why not?

What to do when there's no surf or beisbolo

This is reputedly not The Warbler and Nancy Sinatra

BTW, did you read that Frank Sinatra gave Rock Hudson aids? Hell of a gift I'd say.

I spent lots of time at the downtown Greyhound terminal as a Youngswab.

Never once did I get any kind of aid except from the posted schedule.

Break it up, nothing to see here.

Rain overnight, wind's blowin' it all up to the top of Half Dome & beyond.

Big Fat Clouds, noted NA weatherman, points to the fact that when it rains down here, it usually rains or snows up there. Fat's usually right on, too.

And no doppler radar, either...

Snake Dike should be still feasible if yer tough enough & masochistic enough.

I had to truck on outta here to visit the Cinema Cafe for some o' Noah's zupa. Two kinds today (Tim, my bro, it's what's for lunch--what can I say):
Cream of broccoli (my first choice) or beef broccoli.

So I'm sitting next to this gal, Sabrina. I introduced myself and we chatted. She's been on the sidewalks since her Social Security was taken away. Her eyes are tattooed around the edges. Striking look, I must say.
Not easily forgotten.

She's got two bucks for a short order of fries, good for going out into the wind and finding a cozy spot in the sun to eat 'em. Dining al fresco is where it's found.

I asked could I pay for her order, since I don't get to do such very often and it would be my pleasure. She assented coyly and then she booked.

When I went to pay the tab, Veronica the waitress told me it was covered.
HUH? WHA'? Do tell. So she said this Other Woman had left fifteen bucks to cover MY tab, rather a lot, but then I'd ordered a take-out on the beef broccoli zupa, as well. Veronica was told to give me the change.

So, Christmas giving is alive and happening here and the soup's waiting for tonight's mealtime.

What goes and comes around is SO GOOD, sometimes you can't help but wish for seconds.

I also got a jar of honey via UPS as I went out the door and out onto the street before lunch. Secret Santa? NO IDEA! No note in the box, but THANK YOU to whoever sent this!

I've been getting annoying Silverlight messsages for years. I usually close them or say go ahead and run one time.

This may be an opportunity to clean up a mess, since it offers you a chance to download Silverlight, with stipulations. I'll have to take a look at it.

What I'm remeberimng is that every time I tried to install the update(z) for Silverlight the process failed.

As has been said, as you get older you get colder, which seems to in fact be happening.

Still not as cold as Antamina.

Somehow doesn't look the same as the ones Gabby Hayes had to escape from.

Peru mining boom leaves highlanders behind

World Bank guidelines established in the 1990s stipulate that in big mining projects such as Antamina, whose initial owners had loans guaranteed by the bank, the people relocated should end up with equal or better living standards.

But that didn't happen to the Marzanos or their neighbors. The poverty rate in Peru's mining-scarred highlands remains above 50 percent, double the national average.

I found this copy in a local antique shop in 2013, but I have no VCR on which to view it.
