yeah, LL I suppose you could put it that way LL, I just most of the time refuse to acknowledge their existence and move on. Like I said, an ideal, like to strive for, some of the time ...
I think these situations are best labeled learning experiences, or just experiences, or something else, but I try not to regret.

'On Meaning Well'
Sometimes in life we stop to see,
A child at play so happily,
So busy in our busy day,
We might have took more time to play,
But toiling and working so,
Without an end so often we,
Forgot to let the reins go,
And watch our hearts run free,
Of all of my regrets,
Some doozies are my lot,
Too numerous to mention,
I'll pay for those I've got,
Some of them I've chosen,
To put behind and say,
The worst of my regrets,
Was pushing those away,
Who cherished and who loved me,
And would until this day,
But they have long since gone now,
But still with me in their way,
I never realized then,
How hurtful that can be,
And it's funny how it works,
That turnabout's fair play,
The cats were in their cradle,
Grown up and gone away,
So rarely do they visit,
The old man on this day,
And all my worst regrets,
I've counted on my hand,
Remembering that things don't always,
Turn out as we planned.
In our busy little world,
The bitter tasting lie,
Can occupy our lives,
Until the day we die,
Not seeing what's unfurled
As the sweetly smelling seasons go,
