Raining hard all day in Nelson. Raining at Whitewater too. Worst conditions in years [living memory?]. All the visiting Aussies [lots] think it is fantastic. At least some people are happy.
Unfortunately this is true. I'm not trying to discourage visitors, although there are dozens of way better resorts you should visit first. :) :)

The really bad news is not what the weather is doing to the skiing in S. BC, we can surf this out, but rather the poor regional barley harvest this past season because of the weather!
