Yes I totally bit crimpergirl's thread ;). Let me know who's coming on this thread. We'll probably just end up in the pub side if we get less than ten people. Otherwise i'll make a reservation.

So, BJ, Steve and Mimi, Wayno, Dave Harris, Konrad Kraft (the lurker), Nature and all the other Washington State inmates, it would be good to have you cross the border and on to Squamish !
Not going to happen at 6 pm on a Friday in the winter.
So go ahead and enjoy this one yourselves, and plan something for the foreigners on a summer Saturday. Oh. Wait. That already does exist. Most of us come up for the Psyche Ledge thing.
But there could be something earlier in the summer.

Raining hard all day in Nelson. Raining at Whitewater too. Worst conditions in years [living memory?]. All the visiting Aussies [lots] think it is fantastic. At least some people are happy.
Unfortunately this is true. I'm not trying to discourage visitors, although there are dozens of way better resorts you should visit first. :) :)
