Good luck Charlie!
If you wind up near McCall feel free to look me up, we’ve been having a good winter with lots of powder and stable snow! Although warm now Limited to afternoon and weekends since the trump ski team has been recalled

I 2nd Mark at the scared ride, been years since I seen him but useful place for beta.
If skiing kooteney pass and staying in a motel, the creston side is cheaper
I think the beginner ticket at whitewater is the deal for access to 5mile and Ymir
Be prepared for a shitty drive to Rogers from either side and take the test online before you go

Ps,

Hey happy cowboy, I work with your sister, small world......

Wilbeer, it was last week but since Canada won't build 'that' wall, the Arctic Caravan has made its way into MT and is ruining our snowpack and general well-being

I just got back to the Sierra this week after an extended road trip. I had a blast and enjoyed skiing the back, side and front country of Wyoming, Montana, British Columbia and Alberta over the 4+ weeks I was gone. Great fun skiing with Norm and Lorna on Teton Pass and meeting up with Donnie (Happy Cowboy) at the Bozone and hearing of days gone by there in Wyoming and Montana. Funny too hearing Norm ask, “where did all these young people come from?”

I was somewhat regretful having missed all of Feb’s amazing storm cycle in the Tahoe Sierra, my wife kept track - an unbelievable 52” of snow PLUS 17.5” of rain on top of it at 3,000 ft here in Camino.

Of course my ski buddies back in California would send me photos and claim the only rock showing in the Sierra is the top of El Cap and Half Dome.

Regardless I sure enjoyed the great snow of the Intermountain West and Canada and the many great new and old friends along the trail, enjoy the pictures and the rest of this season.

Berg Heil,

Charlie D.

Awesome Charlie. Welcome back.

With a trip like that, I wouldn't feel too bad for missing February in CA.

25 years ago. SuperComps were the key to Happiness. In those days, we felt like we were the only ones in the whole snowy world. We ripped that chute again and again until the stars came out.

Indeed, the nostalgia of some for their glory days long in the past is high.

Meanwhile, last week...

Charlie that is a slideshow for the ages ,man.

Great photos all around .

Our season is winding down over here and the west is cranking. We still should have a good spring season. I think you folks will be skiing in the summer, for sure.

Tradman ,does Isa have any sisters that ski?😀Last day grooming,I think.
