Boise got about 6-8" of snow yesterday & this morning, with more expected overnight. The low there for Sat. night is 2 f.

Their local news tonight showed the scramble to remove snow from the BSU football field and clean stadium seats. It looked like the field was still snowy, wet, & fuked for football, with a hard freeze tonight.

San Diego State plays football there Sat. night, starting at 8:15 P.M. It should be an interesting California warm vs Idaho cold "reality-check."

I can hardly wait for Idaho's version of the "ice-bowl."

Temperature might dip below freezing in Seattle tonight. I'm scared. What should I do?

I took this from my front door, opened just enough to let the dogs out. Aah, sunrise.

My wife just got on a big "we need snowshoes" kick, so I bought us a pair for her birthday on Sunday. We just may have to use 'em.

Fritz, cold it was, but I think it was colder down in the canyons closer to Boulder than it was here at 8100'. At least it felt that way to me.

An amazing amount of the snow in this picture melted today while I was at work.

My rainbow bibs ROCK! Savage Gear pack from 1994. Mid 2000's boots and skis. 1080Guns for the groomers;)

I borrowed those race poles from a buddy for the day. Didn't know what a piece of history they were til hanging at Copper watching the US team smashing gates, hoping I didn't face plant getting off the chair.

I can barely ski btw. First day at a resort in 7 years. It was big FUN, and I didn't die.

I got my fancy long underroos on under there, and the good stuff on top. Rab Xenon X parka. Super nice.

I just went for a mtn bike ride, and though it's not really winter here I gots to say, breathing 30°air at an aerobic rate through stich holes in the schnozzola is a tingly experience!

Low in Choss Creek this morning was 1 degree f. It made it up to 33 degrees for a high, but the sunlight is melting the snow on our lawn and driveway.

Spider! I feel for you having to clean the pool, you poor bastard.
