Thanks Secret Skully...I mean Santa (thats how the return address was written)

Got my freakin sweet gifts today! A LifeStraw!!!! Yeah!!! And a stylin' beanie. Thanks man.

Pretty pumped to no longer pump now that I have a LifeStraw. Clearly the perfect tool when fishing, I'm stoked!

Ok, apologies are in order.

I've been incredibly busy these past few weeks and just got my gift out today. It should be there in time. If it doesn't make it by Christmas, I'm SO sorry!

On the fun side, I got my gift over the weekend.

Totally on point Anita, thanks so much!

Merry Christmas!!!

Secret Santa - THANK YOU, and Lucas says "Thank You" too!

How did Santa just KNOW that Lucas likes that soft type of plastic as a toy? And how did Santa KNOW that I had been wondering if Lucas would like a flying disk???

Lucas and I love this gift, though I think he needs to watch another dog who knows how to lead out on the toss. He runs once I throw it, but isn't fast enough to get there before it gets to the ground. No matter to Lucas, as you can see. I just hope he isn't embarrassed when he finally figures out the game - hahah

When I arrived home tonight I noticed the postman had left something behind my tree!

Inside I found two bars of gold.

Which contained the following bounty.

A cocktail shaker and a bar of dark chocolate :) Thanks Fattrad.

I got a box addressed to Prod, from Supertopo Santa.

I most likely will not wait to open it....

On another note,

My gift will not be ready to ship until the day before Christmas, that being said, should I send the recipient a note or should I just make them suffer.

hey there say, awwwww, send a neat little fun post card, and let them know... :)

something creative, like the reindeer's sled got stuff on a crag... and,
one of them took-off, for a fast climb... and by the time the other deer got him, back, and hooked up... well, they are behind schedule...

you know... something EASY to understand and all,
;)

hey there say, prod... ;) awwwww, thanks... :))

NOW as to my gift going out:
and an ooops on my part, for the secret santa arrival...

(will use part of prod's plan, as given, above, but adjusted):

well, uh, hmmm... oh my...
reindeer got toooo much snow in the eyes... turns out,
had read the date wrong... oh my...

secret santa gift will arrive at the destination, on
MONDAY THE 22nd... --did not arrive today...

very sorry, i SHOULD have put 'protective glasses' on my ol'
'reindeer that acts as my clerk' between various take-offs,

Well it looks like Santa got his gift today, thanks to the generosity of everyone here. And as always, Santa waits until Christmas to open his gifts like a good boy (although Ms. Claus think's Santa is NUTS for not opening it now. Every year she is baffled by this).

Note: Santa's gift from you folks under the tree, a Christmas card from neebee in the window and the difficult to see brass/copper ornament on the tree from neebee as well (circa 2011??)

Seriously, the point of doing this has never been to receive anything back from you folks, I started this as a way to give back to those who have given so much to the community here. But, from the bottom of my heart, thank you to zip who has organized this and to everyone who contributed to Santa's gift fund. It is truly appreciated and it means a lot.

I hope everyone here has a wonderful Holiday, Happy New Year and plenty of safe, stellar climbing in 2015!

Well, better late than never. I had to revise my original gift plan based on the address I was given, and it might not arrive quite by Christmas, but it should be close!

Fortunately, mine didn't arrive yet either so it's only fair. How exciting!

Good to see I am not the only one who is still "patiently" waiting by the box.
