Talked to Cozzy by FaceTime yesterday.
He sounds just like his regular self and says he's doing lots of physio and mending well .

Visited Scott yesterday at his facility where is he re-habing
We visited for a couple of hours;.....it was great to see him and he is doing remarkably great ...considering the severity of his injuries. He has made remarkable progress...but I'm sure it's come from working very hard most all day everyday with therapists helping him;...it's been a hard go so far, and much more hard work in the near and distant future, I am sure.
As for his tramatic brain injuries;.....he seems to be doing remarkably well in this area as well.....I am no doctor, so I really cannot say much about the details of his mental and physical recovery so far. All I can say it was great to see him, the surgeons have done a remarkable job in "putting him back together", and we talked about what Cos and I usually talk about;.....climbing, our friends, joshua tree stuff, life, liberty , and the pursuit of happiness as we see fit....I've know Scott about 30 years now;...a long time. He is a strong, hearty, determined dude with lots of work ahead of him, and lots of adventures in his future. He appreciates all his friends love and concern, prayers and well-wishes, and looks forward to continued recovery and the love and support of his family, friends, and the climbing community.
It was damn good to see him and speak with him;......I am very fortunate to have such an awesome and amazing pal. When we chatted he was in his wheel chair but he's already starting to walk. He's walking with a walker and even walking without any aid for sort distances at this time. I told him he needs to start posting some pics of his handsome mug for the visual learners out there;...he said he will soon.........
I visited an up-beat, strong, brave, psyched, hopeful Scott Cosgrove;......badass and moving forward, and ready to meet any and all challenges that come his way;........the Scott we all know so well and love. I look forward to our next visit;...it will be soon!

I know a few of his friends from joshua tree have visited him lately..
He seems to be doing well, progressing with his therapy, getting stronger, and thinking about what he is gonna do when he get released by his doctors and therapists from the rehab center. I talked to him yesterday on facebutt chat;..he seems upbeat, happy to be alive and progressing well, and looking forward to getting back into "mainstream" life. He was talking about looking forward to driving a car again, and seeing his friends and getting back out and about. He talked about trying to attend the Gilje fundraiser;..which would be totally wonderful if he could. It is amzaing and so very awesome that he survived such a horrible accident, and that his recovery has gone so amazingly well.
To quote Scott;...."Life is good." Is totally amazing!.....
