hey there say, ...

for scott...

this is the winter season...
and folks like to gather, to share for many-a-reason...

thanksgiving meals...
and christmas gifts--hoping to show love, in ways very real...

and then--for the new year, and all it brings...
whether healing the past-woes, or forging new-and-healthy things...

BUT--this year, your family and loved ones...
and us-here, by the 'tons'...

will keep on GATHERING here, and nearby in your recovery-room...
to be in your corner--praying, cheering and helping you, in our best ways, so that: your spring into the new year, will flourish and BLOOM...

keep on keep on...
it is the best tway, to get strong...

yes, here was are!
both near and far!

Chief, certainly didn't want Scott to drop off the front page. Can you give us an update? Is Scott still in the hospital? I guess at this point he has plenty of support and that's great. L.

I went to visit Scott yesterday and was really happy to see how well he is doing. He still has a long road ahead, but he is at a great facility where they are concentrating on his rehab. They are beginning daily three hour physical therapy sessions, and his right leg and left arm have already been cleared of their no weight bearing status! Pretty amazing considering what he went through!!
We visited for a good long time. His memory is still pretty rough, but he did know who I was and we talked about all sorts of things ... Childhood memories, mountaineering, love, family, life, politics, etc. And, he made me laugh several times :) I left feeling very positive about his progress!!
Thank you all for keeping him in your hearts and thoughts. Please keep the prayers and positive energy coming. Xo

Thanks for posting the update Holly. I was concerned. But if Scott is doing 3 hour PT's then he is doing well...

Holly,

Thanks for the update.
Your report is consistent with an email I received a few days ago from people close to Scott
He's apparently in a great facility and has a dedicated team of professionals working on his rehabilitation.
The word miraculous has been used a number of times and by all accounts this is accurate.
With Fletcher back in NC, I've lost that direct connection with Cozzy's situation and expect to talk to others close to him and Cozzy directly in the next few days.
I've been told he'll be in the rehabilitation center for the better part of six months if not longer.
My own plan is to head down from Canuckistan closer to the week of Christmas and visit Cozzy as much as he and his caregivers will allow.
Maybe fit in a bit of cragging in Josh while I'm at it.
I expect we're approaching a time when others will be able to visit Scott and report out with direct accounts and some pictures.
I'll do my best to contribute.

Oh yeah, Neebee, what do you think? I believe prayers and the lighting of candles with prayer and love do make a huge difference. Yes? YES!
