Nope - I am still listening to Aldo Nova, almost all the time.

Life is just a fantasy!

skitch, with the presumptuous title to your OP the thread never had a chance to have anything to do with Wilco.I still haven't gotten around to a first listen, but I plan to.

Then again, Donny the oh riginal has not weighed in. If he does, could shift it back to Wilco who is 100 times better live than Ween can ever be.

Brave Cowboy, that My Pal Foot Foot is mind blowing. Really. Like with a shotgun splattering brains everywhere. A truly special sonic find.

And to think of the time invested in making that!

Arch Enemy - Under Black Flags We March

Looks like Elvis Costello: Come on, it's a girl...
Has style like Jack White: Quite close, not far away.
Is not mariachi or white people mariachi (jazz): Def not.
It has to be loud. If not, it's not music: Yesss....
It's sweet and salty: I'd say so...
It's more obscure than yours: Well... that's subjective...
and: It's subjective...: It is...

I always considered my taste in music, and my collection, to be the best in the history of civilization.
Seriously, I do love new contemporary stuff and anything with guitar...classical, jazz, blues, grunge, heavy metal, folk, hard rock...yada yada.

How many of you were happy to get the U2 album on your phone???

I love the Ramones, and I'm glad to know that Bono liked them as well, unfortunately Bono's musical taste and musicality don't seem to be connected.

Information is not knowledge.
Knowledge is not wisdom.
Wisdom is not truth.
Truth is not beauty.
Beauty is not love.
Love is not music.
Music is the best.

(Psyched to hear the new Jeff Tweedy too.)

I have excellent taste in music. I despise this pop claptrap you all seem to adore so much. Pure trash!

OK, that's just wrong, so to make up for it, if there are any opera lovers in the audience:
