I would just like to point out that Tarbuster's picture of Eve and Natrix is entitled "Hooters."

Thanks for the dope shot of Eve, bvb. I haven't seen her since I last stopped at her place in Moab back in 2002. Any clue what she's up to?

Tell that to the vast majority of libraries and other places with public-access computers...

Sad, but true.

High desert:
I ripped that nice shot of 'Natrix & Eve from bvb's previous posts.
Hooters is his glorious title btw, 'Musn't ever mess with an artist's werk, even when stolen...

Snowcat:

That would be Thalia, a very cool women who is living at Miguels this summer, while working there and Red River Outdoors.

And, the southeast has more then it's share of cool climbing women, no doubt. Though, there are some pretty damn cool ones from the mid-west that visit the red as well.

Problem is if you look at all these shots you US gals are all able to wear really photogenic little strappy tops to show off your great physique making for great photos. Over here the weather is invariably so cold that we are all wrapped up to the chin with fleece and that don't make for quite such good shots. I find myself having to wear really bright fleeces to make sure I can actually be recognised as a GIRL on the crag.

And how come you all hardly ever seem to wear helmets - is that a girl revolt against "bad hair"?

I (almost) always wear a helmet when leading... if I'm just cragging it and following something where I know I'm not going to be leading any pitches, I'll usually leave it behind.

I always wear one in the winter! Flower stickers on it seem to do the trick as far as making sure everyone knows I'm a gir.

Pat yourselves on the back. Lynn Hill gives supertopo forum, and specifically this thread a big thumbs up on her blog. Listen to current podcast (8/30/06), about half way through.

Tarbuster, There are a handful of folks that I'd especially like to meet from the Supertopo (that I haven't met already), and you and your rad running champ wife are definately on the list!

The climbing women threads are all so inspiring to me!

That's cool Melissa,
Just email us right off my Tarbuster email if you're planning to be in Boulder and we can go hang off a rock and watch Lisa win a race.

I'll be at the Sushi Fest, but Ms. T-Buster will then be having an extended weekend of coffee talk with her pals in LA.

oopsie edit:
shoot, whut a dorkulus I am.
Yes it would be grand for us to meet you Melissa!
Looking forward to it.
