Wow, I'm really humbled by all the positive responses to this! Yes, Todd Gordon is the man! He really has nothing but encouragement and is a great example to us Dads. (I can't believe he climbs so much!)

Couchmaster, thank you for sharing your story! I read it to my wife and she teared up :)

My wife, Ana would be more than happy to offer haircuts JOEY F :)

Again, thank you all for the suggestions and tips they are very helpful and have helped calm the nerves a bit.

Best of luck Bro... but remember.... working in a national park is not like vacationing in a national park.

Thank you Tom. I look forward to meeting you in the valley and seeing your camera setup! I'm hoping to buy my work camera from my employer before heading out :)

Follow your dream. It will get easier as you go and get to know the scene. It won't be ideal at first, but keep at it and you'll be where you need to be. Chase the dream!

Update: I officially have a job with YNP and we are moving next month!!! We are so excited to begin our new adventure. I start the 25th and look forward to meeting a few of you and hopefully go climbing! We are still finalizing up living situations and have found all the recommendations and comments very helpful!

Thanks again, the climbing community continues to amaze me :)

Good luck to you and...enjoy!
If you haven't done it the quintessential Yosemite climb is the Steck/Salathe.
