It should be out sometime in this decade? :-)
There is still a lot of work to do, and we (and I in particular) need to keep spending the time
that it takes to turn rough/marked up topos into final versions....

Set aside Clint's wealth of knowledge, organizational/archival prowess and willingness to share with the community...

Have anyone of you ever heard Clint spray about where he has climbed and what he has done? Has he ever broadcast trip reports of his FA's or how hard core he is? I have never seen it at least.

What I respect most about Clint is his absolute lack of self aggrandization, lack of publicity or self promotion, lack of grand standing. I have only crossed paths with Clint in one particular area that he was a significant part of but he welcomed me to the small community, shared his knowledge and was more than willing to tolerate my lack of experience/naivete. And following his example has made me a better climber today.

Cheers to Clint. Not only for what he has shared publicly but also to what he has NOT shared or sprayed about. A climbing ethic I try (and fail many times) to emulate.

Hope you stop by again someday buddy, I am at the same place.

Kudos to Clint for encyclopedic knowledge, generously shared, and one of the nicest people in the climbing community.

Four thumbs up to sweet Nancy, too (remember Midwife Crisis?)

I think there are other threads but RE Clint saying:
I remember interacting with John on Connecticut climbing;
probably in the rec.climbing days.
I knew he was at Yale, but didn't know at the time that
the word haskell in his domain name was the language Haskell.
Must be very tough for his wife and kids.

Clint just contributes and moves us forward. To a knowledgeable and right honest human being: thanks Clint for all you're contributing.

A less blurry photo of Clint (R). With unindicted coconspirator Roger Brown, another stalwart. Fortifying themselves for another hard day's work.

Our very own kind of Spock only much better because he is human afterall, and bestowed with kindly easy airs. A stealthily, extremely accomplished climber and climbing historian. His posts on ethics discussions are the finest anywhere.

Agreed, susu! Clint, you are an amazing dood! Thanks for all you've done to set the records straight, and at times, set me straight. Damn glad to know you!
