Avery says; "I've run out of questions . . "

Impossible to do!!!

It's never ever been done.

No mortal has ever been able to accomplish this.

There's no escape ...... :-)

Who announces an indefinite departure other than an attention-seeker? I leave for a while sometimes, then check in to see what's up.

Why the announcement? Just go!

Probably just my naïveté, but since (at least I think) all his posts were about climbing he was just being polite and saying "thanks for a nice time....gotta run now". To me it sounded like he might be doing research or something. I didn't read all his stuff but that was my take. He certainly didn't sound like he had his knickers in a twist, or maybe that don't use that expression where he is.
Avery, if you're still around I did enjoy your contributions even if they are way, way, way above my pay grade.

I think so, too. Just when ST goes into extended periods of altered states of consciousness I'm not always sure what's real and what isn't.

Everybody gets pulled back to the Taco Stand. Nobody leaves. It's the best resource for climbing/politics/culture ever.

That's my take anyway. Anything you want to know about climbing can be answered rather quickly on this forum. And you can also get the weather on current political events.

A masterpiece of a website and forum. Chris Mac is a f*#king genius.

Nobody who is a climber ever leaves the Taco Stand once they have been here. Some go on hiatus (or climbing), but they always come back.

Best site ever for climbing, politics, and random cultural discussion. It's also about the only place to actually talk climbing with the old-timers, and get real questions answered.

Chris Mac is a f*#king genius to leave the forum the way it is.

This so sad, I thought Kiwis and Aussies were immune to butthurt, or is it simply that we are no longer worthy?
