Yes, seriously. Just wondering if the lines are fixed or should we plan to bring our own ropes up freeblast to then fix and haul. Either way is fine, but no point in dragging ropes up there if not needed.

As of May 1st you can descend from Mammoth Terraces with only one rope. There is a fixed line from Mammoth down to Heart and then fixed lines all the way to the ground. Someone must have replaced a line since Ben Doyle posted this message.

East ledges ropes are in pretty good shape as of May 3rd, 2014. Some nice folks just replaced (or shall I say added to?) one of the more worn ones. The yellow rope on the second rap is the new one, but the blue is good as well, just a bit fuzzy.

The person who put the fixed ropes to heart did a great job since your still use your own ropes if needed.
Soon the east ledges will need a new rope. If anyone has a 40-50m static rope they would donate, I'll happily carry it up and rig it.
A fat 60m static would be even better!
Thanks!

Are the fixed lines still there and/or looking to be in good shape? Heading out there in a couple of weeks and may have a couple of ropes to add if needed...
Any info would be great!
