I remember a time when I put my head on the pillow, and then it suddenly was morning. Like before my back gave way. Now there seems to be no way to lie down comfortably.
Makes me kinda irascible.

This morning, while trying to cook for the week so I could eat healthy, I used a newly sharpened knife and darn near chopped the end of my finger off (at least it feels like it). It will probably take at least 2 weeks for the skin to grow back, and might severely impact my ability to crush on my next trip down to climb in socal with phylp. And this will suck as I struggle up the plastic in the gym with my middle finger flying high. If you are in pgsf tomorrow, I am not flipping you off, I am injured.

The scar on my face from the ice that hit me has not faded. I'm ruined.

I'm also too lazy to get up and make coffee and now the cat plopped down on my chest so I'm just giving up.

hey there say, anita514 ... at least the cat part has some comfort to it...

:)

will send another 'cheer up card' soon... hang in there...
pet the cat... it is supposed to be like hugs... good for the spirit :)
i think it also helps the body relax, and thus tension will leave...

tension is part of pain and keeping it or pain in, also makes for depression... next... smile... or try to, about something nice, that you have enjoyed or do enjoy, as to just being you... as-- sometimes the sun may not bright or the day cheery, or the day may be great and YOU are not out there in it... but who you are, can always be there...

keep it special and cherish that... it will keep you on an even keel and if you are a prayer, pray, too, :)

:)

hey there say, flip flop... oh my, will sure keep you in prayers... sometimes, you have to just step back and wait--hard and awful as that may be...

say, daphne, how awful... sorry to hear about that...
my mom warned me about new knives... she once learned the hard way, too... she got some as a gift... she went back to using her own, and always knew how much 'resharp' to add to them, and preferred them a bit duller, as, she had the 'feel' for them, after so many years with 'ol faithfuls' ...

get well soon!!!

My wife left this morning driving to Denver to hang out with girl friend for a week.

I am just going to have to eat every meal out and rattle the walls with my electric guitar.

Maybe get a blister on my finger, maybe get a blister on my thumb.....

sob...

You got nuthin' to whine about as long as you're ambidextrous.
