Very interesting Raker.
I had no idea Jay Smith had been down under.
Everyone that has done the "Yankee-Kiwi" couloir that I have spoken to all agree it was a route ahead of its time.(1979)
Is there any chance of some pics?

Yea it's me. I knew Tobin well. Still miss him. I am going to retire here in October, Kayak the Southwest for about 10 months then move to South America for the rest of my life. yadayadayada.
