Just to say: in 1973 or '74 Walter Rosenthal, Dave Hitchcock and I did a first ascent on a slab (II 5.9) that has, perhaps the worst Rawl drive bolt ever placed (by me) at the end of the second pitch, a long unprotected 5.9 traverse to the left that we all thought would end at a tree belay, but didn't. I wanted to call it The Immaculate Deception and Walter wanted Pus. I'm not sure if its ever been written up. Beautiful setting on a south facing slab with a waterfall at the top that never reaches the ground.

Hi David, where were you guys, approximately? There are not a large number of south facing slabs with waterfalls above them. Slabs between Royal Arches and Washington Column? Any contact info for Walter or Dave to help Ed out?
