Ahnita number asked:
"is that you, couchmaster?"

Nope.

Me below. Not many "self portraits", like Rgold. I took this photo below specifically as the "next of kin" shot. Wuz 200' up there @mid point of a route Ujahn and I had started called "The Dragons Spine". Feeling all alone, staring at another 100' to get to the top of a pinnacle to finish the first ascent on. Wanted friends and relatives to piece it together if it went bad. No cell coverage, no cars or people for miles and miles, feeling alone and like a wuss. Which is why I have 2 daisies and the rope clipped in. Took the photo, clipped the camera to the anchor, looked at the amazing setting (waaaayyyyy out there alone but so pretty), caught my breath and did some relaxing: put my helmet on (don't often wear it) and fired it off. Happy to say that the rap anchor I tossed over the pinnacle held and didn't slice in 2 pieces up on top too, seemed in doubt at the time. What a damned fine day. Will carry that happy memory to my grave.

Larry and Dirt Claude, great stuff LOL!
