According to Clint Cummins:
Never Never Land - Ellie Hawkins 1980s? Grade VI solo
Ribbon Falls Dyslexia - Ellie Hawkins 1985 Grade VI solo first ascent

But, I believe she was also the first woman to solo the Nose also. Any body out there remember that?

I am assuming that the tape on the grigri was to keep it from locking up

BTW Bev was hot.

I sure don't recall Ellie doing those two solos!

I wonder where Clint got his information.

One of the greatest supertopo female solos.

First Female Solo of Evolution Traverse by Michelle! Great TR! One of the few that inspired me to do the route!

A woman who's name I forget, soloed The Prow in the late 70's - early 80's. I had the privilege of climbing the Grand Wall with her a long time ago.
What is her name ! she was a very good climber.

Probably Carmel Schimmel?

No offense to Stefka but Destivelle and Vidal are the two most illustrious female soloists . . . to this day.

Amanda Tarr deserves mention for her solo of the Hallucinogen Wall on the North Chasm View. Tough chick.
