that's a heck of a job by cheyne. especially in november, when the days are so short, going dark by 7pm, and finishing the last 8 hours, when you are the most tired, by headlamp. not an easy record record to break, if i say so myself. ss

Wow! Hard to fathom.
I remember when Shipoopi did it and not being able to grasp the tactics involved.
Why didnt Florine, Potter, Hubers, etc top this a while back
I wonder how familiar both he and Cheyne were with the route prior to the solo?

Has this record been broken? So hard to fathom how this goes down - so much sh#t to do, and do safely, on a finite amount of energy and in such a short amount of time.

Amazing feat. Doing it safely is nearly impossible and largely a matter of opinion. I was climbing at the gym tonight and had a hold break and I was off before I knew it. I shuddered to think what would might be if that happened on any number of occasions when I've been runout or in the mountains solo. Amazing accomplishment but will be broken someday, honnolds solo almost counts...
