I'm in love with this place!

Aren't we all? :)Those of us who get to go frequently should never take it for granted.. It really is something special.

Bitter-sweet when a place gets under your skin. The swifts and ravens seem to hang in that sky forever.

We climbed Frankensteins the other day. Only Swifts and a Peregrine for company. Perfect granite, blue lake below and sky above, life is good!

I have not seen this thread yet. Fun watching your adventures.

Mel's Diner is definitely 5.10. She has one FA and is already a sandbagger!

My buddy Shane made his first lead yesterday, onsight. The forest was cool and glorious. Sugar-pine cones dripping sap, fall squirrels scurrying, unclimbed lines to hand, new crags gleaming across the river. Ahh tis love.

Phil and Melissa, thanks for the good climbing on Sunday. A taste of the day at Second Quarry. Phil on-sighting our buddy Roger's new route.

P to the B!

I'll never forget my first FA; it was also with pb.

Glad you had fun at the Steins! That is where War of the Worlds is right?
