We are bivied on top of the run out 5.9 pitches (5.10a and 5.10b) right now and will top out around noon tomorrow.
Yeah, it felt pretty good to lead that one that defeated me last year.

Still tough and thought provoking. I was surprised at how involved the first one, the one I had previously done, was. I was a bit freaked starting up the second one, it was cold and windy, but I just reverted to my "you're Mark Hudon and you're badass" mantra and everything went well.

Way to go Mark and Max!! Revenge is sweet (or at least putting a "defeat" in it's proper place). Stay on top- the world has turned to madness in the Valley and beyond. Much saner on runout 5.9+ than here in what passes for civilization. Can't wait to read the TR. Susan and I will be in Moab the last week of October through the first two weeks of November. We will have the Indian Creek rack, if not the spooze. Look us up if you are in the area!
