Sorry, sounds good, it's a popular thing to say, but climbing, the rock, and the mountains is the core of my pursuit.

Warbler, I'm curious. How much difference does it make to you to have another human being with whom you can share those experiences? A person who can relate to what you went through, what you feel, and what excites you about doing it in the future?

For me personally, I derive a great deal of pleasure of the experience independent of the person, but it would be much less to not have a person to share it with.
