I know Clark's mother and father have passed away. From talking to him, I think surviving family might be distant, as he immigrated to this country at about aged six, if I recall correctly.

But I can tell you that I bet Clark would love that painting no matter where it was, even if it were in his storage unit (which he does go to regularly).

I don't think he knows yet about this painting...next time I call I will have to mention it and send him the link. I am SURE he would be tickled pink. Neebee has really done a good thing.

hey there, say all...

bump for funds for clark... not much long, i reckon this will finish for
last day of may...

does that sound good, folks?

think it is at about 175??? now...
hope we can get just a little bit more for him...

:)

hope someone will enjoy having this painting of him in their home... or
wherever you'd like...

would go nice with a southwest type color scheme, etc...
or, on a wall with some neat plants, nearby, etc...

:)

Hey Neebee,

I just posted a check for $60 (wish I could afford more) directly to Clark at the PO Box address here - http://www.friendsofjosh.org/?p=964 .

Thanks for putting this beautiful painting up for auction and reminding us to help Clark!

hey there all, say...

here is a bump.... so that this money from the painting can go to help him, soon, the last day for the painting bid, is this last of may...

i can get ready to mail it off, the first week to ten days in june...

please, though, after you donate your funds to him, i need about 10-12 bucks in my paypal, to mail this to him, ...

many times i do use my own funds, but i end up with no money by the last week of each month, that way, and while i know how to rough it, it makes it harder on the critters, if i get low on their food--or cat litter... :(

though i don't mind, many times, as i try to balance for that,
this month i have to be very careful...

thank so much, :)

i thankfully now have a volunteer to pay postage for sending clark's
fundraising painting to the

high-bid winner of it...

happy win, to one of you all...

hey there say, folks...

i will check with bluntman, by email, as, i think he is the highest bidder, so far... dean, has stopped his bidding now,
and i will keep this bumped a bit, just in case someone had planned to
bid...

i sure don't want someone left out, when they had wished to help this way...

so this is a going, going, going, type post here...

here going once...
i think--but will check it out,

to bluntman...

*will now email to make sure... :)

*but--i got some chores, so i will be back, hours from now, into the eve, or morning... :)

happy supertopo eve to you all!
and hope the memorial day weekend, had memories that
kept your hearts touched, humbled, or thankful...

and--happy, as well...

hey there, say, the lisa! ye ol' volunteer you!

i'm sure what you sent will be fine, usually they are between 12-14 bucks to mail and i buy a 1.99 box...

say, bluntman and cragman, perhaps you can email each other... AS:

both, so far, very politely are sure that neither of them is the winner ->as, cragman emailed that he was just helping to get some action on the thread, and though bluntman was a good winner, so now i got confused...

now, i am not sure what to do, :(

hope you all can share, here, so all the climbers will
know where the clark painting went, for his fundraiser...

thank you so much, to all you all...

hey there say, thanks to you too, bluntman... good job, all in all...

and thanks for caring for your friend... taco folks are good
support-system type folks, for long haul, :) and when the ol' chips-of-life, have one down...

:)

well, i reckon the ol' auction is over now, folks...
thanks for everything... and i will see what my next step is...

god bless... and hopes prayers and well wishes to you,
clark... i have learned of you here, and you are very dear to all!
will keep praying for you, and i am very grateful to the ol' taco here,
that i have "met" so many fine ledgends--and all humble folks, they are, in deed, :)

hey there all, say, folks...

bluntman's second email got trapped in spam, as when i deleted some spam, the silly ol' dail up, 'lingered too long' and took his email and 'the lisa's, as well...

no wonder i could never find their replies, :(
thought the emails were 'stuck' on second page, and a page that did not
even exist, i just found out...

well now, say:
bluntman IS the winner at 155.00

now, please, where should be needing to send the funds to, for
clark??

thanks folks, i will bump a bit later and see if someone steps in, or, reminds us all where to go, as i think???
there may have been two ways to DO that?????

oh, ps:
please email me your address, bluntman, thanks so much!

Thanks. In all fairness, there is a fine gentleman (who chooses to remain anonymous) that out-bid me and is sending the money directly to Clark. I will also send my semi-winning bid to neebee or RLF. I will keep it (the painting) in my house until the tribe determines where it belongs.

All,

It's time for me to take Neebee's painting of Clark to a location (business?) where it'll do the most good generating additional contributions for Clark. When I bid on it, I indicated I'd keep it for 30 days. That time has come. Suggestions? Anyone have any contacts at Nomad that could make a decision to hang it at one of their locations? Also, can anyone put me in touch with Clark? I haven't spoken with him for about a year and I feel we should make sure he's cool with any decision that is made. Any help and or assistance from y'all would be greatly appreciated.
