Sorry to miss the specterman finally today.

I took a dawn run on a new trail that, due to failed GPS batteries lead to a 24 mile run without water and consequent, subsequent physical, though still waking, sub collapse. Good thing it was an overcast day.
A long bath and nap have me feeling much recovered.

you didn't miss much unless you think a great spectator sport is watching me hang on a rope.

Well, I was jonsing French toast after I had to leave the sushi abruptly last night. Im always up for another lap on spectreman, but there were some other, more important things I will miss being part of, as well.

Thanks for the photos! Looks like it was a great time! I'm bummed I couldn't make it; especially since up until Friday, I lived only an hour away.

Spectacular, Murcy!
For the record; "guy from Laramie" is Bill Kuestner, he and mike where apartment mates all through college, an all round good egg he is author of such fearsome face nightmares as Wailing on Napalm, Exit rampant Bachelor party.
"Gary's wife" is Peggy Carpenter, schoolteacher, and "Eeyonkee's wife" Is Elizabeth a shrink whom I expect to publish a paper on all of us any minute now.
A great surprise to see Mia at this event, she is a fellow guide from Moab with whom I sometimes work, (The Larry , too)

Man that Mike has an infectious smile!
