Impressive, Plaid!

Knowing your level of determination, I don't think your next goal is going to be any trouble for you.

Thanks Maid, Mark. and Erik.

I am one determined guy. If I say it. I do it.
It's kinda an integrity thing.

Super happy with the new bod.
It floats up cracks and hardly slows down.

Apparently we have a new USA rep for Totem Cams!

A kind-of mini-me of the previous rep.

Don't be afraid, he is not the evil mini-me - it's a good thing!

I'm not a mimi me. I didn't get any shorter.
At 5' 7" that's short enough.
I have been called a lot of things, but evil is not one of them..
Yep Totem Cam rep I am. I will be bringing 2 sets
of Totems to the Valley for the demo again.

I have surpassed my first goal as I ticked down 2 more pounds.
Now at 168. I am going to go for an even 50 pounds lost since Feb. 2013.
That will be 50 pounds lost in my 50th year.
Then I am going to give it a rest for a while and learn how to maintain this weight and allow my body to find a little equilibrium.

I lost all this weight once before so this is the second go round.
Now I need to incorporate this life style change and go from deficit eating to a maintenance mode.

This will be the real test. Now that I am here at the weight I want to be at, how to live in the skin I am in. It's weird and I am not used to the change. It happened kinda fast. None of my clothes fit and my arms are lean and.....
Well it is going to take some getting used to.

Climbing is off the hook though. Sure is easier.

That's awesome!! How much did you lose?

In high school I used to be 300 lbs, than I joined football team in my senior year, did boxing/muay thai after HS and worked out on my own. Now I am 180. Not half, but will be close enough if I lose another 15 like I should!

Good luck on El Cap!

Hey Plaid,

You were so psyched in June when we were chatting. You must be beyond psyched now. Congrats on the goal! Looking forward to hearing of you floating up routes.

Vitaliy M. I lost 48 pounds since Feb 2013.

Doug floating is already happening. I am free climbing at least two letter grades harder. Struggling up 5.11b but able to get into the top step of my aiders on hooks super easy.

Brandon you will be happy when you get there. I sure am glad I made the effort.

OMG. You got a bandaid?

Cause I'm cut!

I was thanking P90X, but my old partner in climb told me I should be thanking myself first as I was and am the one doing the work and keeping it real and bringing it. I see his point, but I sure needed help and a structured program to adhere myself to. The eating part was difficult. I just had to tell myself where do I want to be. Instead of eating a monster crappy meal or just plain junk. Where I want to be is on the summit of El Cap. The other thing I did was I never call it a diet. It is a lifestyle change. I ain't going back. NEVER! I quit drinking 28 years ago and now I have decided to eat different. So this is the new challenge. To keep eating different and stay with the new lifestyle.

I have to say thank you Mark for introducing me to P90X and inviting me to the best years of my life. You may have just saved someone from serious medical issues as I was getting kinda large.

I am really on the path to some great adventures in the vertical world and that is where I thrive.
