he is pale!
been a tuff go,,
that is a warming blanket - you can use them for anything - post op rewarming, hypothermia, cold water near drownings, etc..
Never heard of keeping the flap warm like that though..crazy..
pretty much state of the art medicine here..
to give ya all an idea of how serious - Open Hearts can go home on Day 4 post surgery.
JL is looking at going home day 35 or so...
heal up!!

Riley, I was just saying that last night about heart patients, even I didn't think it would be this long...
BTW He still hadn't had too much to eat yesterday he looks much better after some grub.

The hospital is no place to spend Christmas.
Heal quickly and get home and relax.
I have been to several of these fund raisers or beg fests,
They arent very interesting until John Long shows up and grabs the mic
Humble is good but f#ck the pride
Get Better and give the go-ahead for "The Mutherf#ckin Fest of Ages"
We would all like to celebrate your well being and NOW seems like a good time to do it.

lying in a damn hospital bed that long makes anyone pale. he looks pretty good to me.
but, hey, the proper knot for that situation would have been a mule hitch, backed up with an overhand.

On Saturday Bridwell, Bullwinkle and I dropped in for a bit to say hi. Within minutes the room was full of friends and family. As we were leaving more folks were arriving. It's great to see such an outpouring of love and support for John.

Ah, man, I only spent three nights in the hospital on my deal. I could not imagine 30+ days. Yowza!
You're a tough guy, Largo, keep it together in the home stretch. And then do your damndest to stay out of the place!
