During our Salathe trip, everything was fantastic, relatively, till THE ledge, a 5.9 flare away from the Alcove. It upset our timetable, such as it was. We finally gave up on 5.9, just couldn't do it. Nailed the cracks on the left, Doug did, totally his idea. I was convinced we could do the 5.9 eventually. But he insisted. We only were able to get over there to the crack by going DOWN and left. We fixed one pitch above the Spire that day. SAD. I'll never live it down. Gee.
But it's tough to say. You know they give out an Al Radka Award to Fresno area athletes each year, and have been for over fifty? God we are getting there, aren't we, Gyp?
Al had the Three Stooges to present to us each day. It was a tough job and some nut had to do it. I think Macro and Micro could pull it off.
Uncle Jimmie Weldon and Aunt Bernice. She came on and advertised one of their sponsors which I think may have been Mode O' Day. Al Radka did Lesterburger
Throwpie and Mouse this afternoon, the middle of Earth, fickly fingering each other. He has tendonitis, hence his finger brace.
Remind me to reminisce later. This was an unexpected visit, it's all too much, we drank some bitchen ale and smoked some bitchen home-grown, and it's just all too beautiful. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJzcF0v1eOE
The duct tape finger brace is a nice touch eh? The finger cracks combined with thirty years of windsurfing have taken their toll. Nice to visit the mousehouse. A hang is a hang.
This is a bottle of Rose which I purchased on a whim at the Merced Antique Mall today. Little did I realize that Throwpie was coming. We opened it and immediately went to the Downtown Brown and the Pipeline Porter.

Howard Hughes. Howard the Duck, more like it, it was that bad. But the bottle is quaint.
Life is good. Leggs has it right. At least for today. :)

"Six samples that were taken from Lance Armstrong were retested in '05 and they were positive," USADA head Tygart recently told "60 Minutes."
The tests were originally taken in 1999, before there was a test for EPO, he said. When new tests were conducted in 2005, "all six were flaming positive," he said.
Just ran across my father's approx. 50 year old zippo lighter, a comemorization of his contributioons to Cub Pack #150. Zippo is still going strong. Flame on. Elvis digs 'em.
